Comfortable, large rooms. Breakfast was OK but no hot meals.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. The room was large and comfortable. Great experience and great value! I would definitely stay here again.

Loved it. We had some issues with the kitchen not working, but staff came up and fixed immediately. We used our kitchen to prepare a meal and it was great.

I hate to write a bad review because the staff were very friendly; however the cleanliness of the place was far less than superb. When I first arrived, I was placed on the first floor which is street level. After having people look into my hotel room from outside, I asked to be moved to a higher room. My next room seemed nice at first look and after returning from dinner, I was greeted by a LARGE cockroach in the kitchen. I called the front desk and they told me it must be a water bug (without looking at it). I stated that I knew what a cockroach looked like and asked to switch rooms. I then took a picture of the cockroach which scared it to run underneath the fridge and I heard the clatter of its body. I then was moved to a new room directly below the cockroach room. This room was fifthly. There were smudges all over the nightstand, USED gum on the window sill, and the room smelled awful. I was afraid to ask to move rooms again and just toughed it out for the next three nights. I slept with all the lights in the kitchen on to try to deter the cockroaches if any were in this new room. I also was choosy on what I ate for breakfast having witnessed first hand the state of the hotel and only ate prepackaged breakfast with plastic utensils. Needless to say, being 5.5 months pregnant and busy on a business trip, this was the LAST place I wanted to come back to each night.

Upon arrival staff was very nice and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Location was great!! We were within walking distance to many great shops and restaurants. All of the museums and site seeing attractions were also very close. We would definitely go back again.

The hotel is in a great location to the main shopping area. We stayed 1 night while looking at colleges in the area. 20 min walk to Georgetown University. Underground parking. They said we would have to get the car out of the garage prior to 3pm but there was no problem leaving it there until 5pm. The breakfast was included and was OK. Nothing special. Our room was a little dated but for 1 night it was fine especially at the discounted rate. Would look elsewhere if I would have to pay full price.

This hotel was good value for the money, and a great alternative to staying at the Four Seasons two blocks away where my conference was being held. I didn't sleep as well as I would have liked, however, because the curtains did not adequately black out the light, and the heater kept loudly blowing on and off throughout the night to regulate the temperature.

The hotel was exactly what I was hoping for. The decor was a bit dated, but the location and size of the space made it well worth the money spent.

Hotel staff were great, rooms were spacious, and complete with fridge, stove, etc. Location was great, close to shops and pubs. Hotel is sort of expensive and on the old side. But then again it's in historic Georgetown.

My mother and I spent the night on a Saturday so that we could shop on M street Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. We arrived early and the hotel checked us in right away. It's definitely the best value in the Georgetown area, I have never turned up a better rate in the 3-4 years we have been going down there either to shop or visit my brother at school. The breakfast in the morning is nice too. The parking isn't free ($30), but in DC honestly it's worth it to be able to park right there.

We live in the area and know what Georgetown is like ($$). So when we found Georgetown Suites at a really attractive rate, we pounced on it right away! We stayed there in mid June '14. Check-in and parking are top notch (especially parking-its a bear in Georgetown). We only did one night, for our anniversary, but its literally right in the middle of everything!! The location is probably the best thing about this hotel. The hotel itself, is very euro. If you've stayed in a hotel in paris or rome, you'll see it as soon as you walk in. We loved our time in Europe so that was not a negative for us. There is a fantastic breakfast provided in the lobby, and the C&O Canal is right at your doorstep. It goes west 184 miles to Cumberland MD, if you fancy a bike ride. We used ride sharing to get around and lastly Georgetown Cupcakes is probably five blocks away! (p.s. its just fine for kids too)

It was a fine experience. Nothing special though. Did not have room service, which was disappointing.

The perfect location in Georgetown! Room was large, comfortable, and attractive. Will definitely stay here again!

Overnight was very accomodating. It was a little diffucult to find but parking was very nice in an underground lot. Very secure. The suite came equipped with a full fridge and stove. Perfect if you wanted to eat in. I would stay there again! 1111 30th st nw.

Room was clean and bigger than my last apartment in San Francisco!

As always, clean, good location, big room. I was moved to their second building upon arrival. That location isn't as good and the parking lot was so small that I couldn't get my SUV in.

Good location, large rooms, clean. The rooms themselves are becoming a bit dated. Needs some work on sound proofing - the room doors slam shut of you don't hold them and I was woken multiple times Sunday night with people around me slamming their doors. Also, the price seems to have gone up quite a bit in the last year to close to $300. That makes the value proposition less attractive than alternatives in Georgetown.

I had a very nice large room with plenty of amenities to suit my needs. The only problem was that I chose the hotel based on its location on 31st Street, only to arrive and be told my room was on 29th Street, and when I got there my window was maybe 50 yards from a noisy downtown expressway. Not the quaint Georgetown experience I was seeking. Building location is fine except for those rooms overlooking the freeway. Otherwise very nice value hotel for the area.

This is my second time at the Georgetown Suites. Large rooms with living area and full kitchen. Great location in downtown Georgetown - walking distance to all shops and restaurants. Included breakfast which had a lot of variety but nothing special. The halls and common areas are in need of updating but rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Great for the price.

very good experience. Clean, comfortable and well located.
