Truly was a home away from home! I felt safe and it was a great location. The host was most receptive and returned responses promptly. The apartment is very clean and in a nice neighborhood. Walking distance to restaurants. Homey feel and very comfy bed. The outer staircase is very narrow so bring your suitcases down after you. I had to leave early due to a family emergency so didn't get to enjoy my stay too much unfortunately. The only thing I didn't like was that the blinds need to stay shut due to the location. Clean, comfy, convenient, a good option for a DC visit.

It was my first time in DC as a tourist. Love this city and VRBO. Relatively close to the very easy to use metro. We bought a 7 day pass. Host was responsive. 2 blocks to a Whole Foods. 3 blocks to ice cream. We love the Pearl Dive 6 block walk. Great back outside back patio on this place. Awesome TV. Great bed. Awesome leather recliner. Host got back to us timely via the messaging app in VRBO though we had zero issues. Queen size bed and bedding were awesome. Lower unit 5 easy steps down. Temp and comfort was awesome just empty tge dehumidifier to keep the humidity down. Very easy to do. Safe walking at night.

Comfortable, convenient apartment

This basement apartment is in a lovely neighborhood. Everything you need is provided. The queen bed is very comfortable. Kitchen is well-appointed and stocked with coffee and tea. A Whole Foods is just around the corner. Note that access to all Metro lines is just over 1/2-mile from the apartment. Wear your comfortable shoes and you'll be fine.
