Everything about this property and stay was amazing. The staff are so genuinely kind and dedicated to ensuring a carefree comfortable stay. The restaurant bar is wonderful and the same top notch service and care. The bakery/cafe is cozy, well priced and had breakfast all day. The hotel and room itself was quiet and thoughtfully decorated. I felt like I was visiting a family home. Everywhere you look on this property is something unique, thought provoking and full of humanity. There are so many unique things to do just on this property alone that you'll feel guilty not exploring everything outside that's within minutes. If you want to stay within minutes of the white house and DC at large this is a PERFECT spot!

A great hotel full of original contemporary art pieces and history of jazz. African American heritage but in a very positive and uplifting way. It makes you believe that anything is possible, that you can be great despite the cards you were dealt at birth. There is an awesome exhibit of Michael Platt masterpieces that can’t be seen anywhere else.

Very central and hip hotel, convenient to dining and all of the National Mall attractions (20 minute walk). The Eaton has a lot to offer - rooftop bar, speakeasy, several restaurants, however the hotel seems to cater more to locals than to its guests. The Allegory bar was closed for a private party as was the rooftop bar (thus tons of people in lines in the lobby, elevator from 4pm - late night- lots of partying all night) Also, the Wellness Center, which was a main draw for our visit, was closed most of the time on Saturday and Sunday. For the very high rate we paid and the tiny mediocre room, I won't be returning. One of the restaurants was closed, too, though we did enjoy the Baker's Daughter cafe'. All in all, it's a cool place that is more set up for the locals than its guests.

Everyone in hotel was nice & helpful, Clean, a nice & quiet room. Loved the alkaline water & its bottle, encouraging recycling, helpful for hydration during touring in D.C. Hotel focus on energy conservation, door key access the elevator as well as the power in the room. This is the 1st time ever seen such a thing. Thought that was cool. weekends are lively at the roof top bar or restaurants. Always had great music playing in entry. Respectful of all. Enjoyed the art gallery, quick breakfast at the baker’s daughter cafe was yummy and quick.Had a Beef Bougnion dinner at Michele's restaurant . So good. Only neg. Power went out for ~6 min once but was back on automatically like nothing happened. Didn’t even have enough time to call and what the issue was. Overall a real nice place to stay while visiting D.C. Had a great stay.

Fantastic Property

I always love to stay at Eaton when in DC! Simone at the front desk was a fresh friendly face that welcomed me to Eaton hospitality. Great restaurants, location and curated spaces with a vibe. I only suggest stricter guidelines for non guest entering Bakers Daughter in the morning. This is the 2nd trip where my breakfast was interrupted by someone asking for money. As a woman business traveler who is often alone, being approached by strange men is VERY UNSETTLING.

Awesome place!

Very unique place, in all the best ways. Choices of grab-and-go breakfast, dining-in or bar scene right on the 1st level. Didn't make it to the rooftop, but I'll bet it's cool! Rooms came with records & a record player. Nice views, comfortable atmosphere & lots of lounging area outside of the room as well.
