Hotel is conveniently located, near restaurants, a few blocks from the METRO, fifteen minute walk to the DC convention center. Hotel is safe, clean, with daily housekeeping. Very quiet at night. The rooms are small, perfect for a trip where you need a place to sleep and spend your days out of the hotel.

Basic box room with a bed. It will be fine if you need the place to just crash in the night and leave. The reason for the two star is the access. If you need access after midnight you need to carry some luck. The front door is not manned always. I had to stay out close to an hour as there was none to open. Other than check in at set times, property advertise as 24 hours access though which was not true in my case

Convenient Location, needs updates

The hotel is in a convenient location and was affordable. However, the property is very old and needs updates. The rooms needs fridges/microwaves and other more modern amenities. I think it the charming to have the old vintage feel but could be combined with more modern amenities and still maintain the charm. Staff was friendly when needed.
