No frills but met all of our needs. Convenient location for the bus to visit sites. Friendly and helpful staff. No complaints.

Check in was a little painful. My international drivers license was not acceptable and had to find my passport, which is a bit ironic since my driver license has more details about me than a passport. The room was clean but maybe small to some. My biggest complaint was the heat/air window unit. The noise of it switching on and running and toggling on and off was nearly impossible to get a good sleep. It's a shame since the bed was quite good and comfort to my liking.

The bed was horrible! The room was so small and we had to ask for towels every night

Dirty room. Staff was not helpful. It's better to find other hote than to save a few bucks staying at this hotel.

This place was fine for my one-night stay. The room was clean, had beds, and the shower had hot water. I didn't find it to be very loud for a city hotel. For DC & the location in DC, the price wasn't bad. Only downside was that there was no internet in the rooms; wifi was only available in their rundown lobby.

Great location and easy access and plenty of good restaurants

I didn’t like anything about it is there anyway I could get a refund

Convenient location. No frills. Room was on first floor next to lobby door. Patio construction was going on early in the morning. If you just need a shower and a bed, this will work.

No parking old building. It would be good after have a parking lot it would be much nicer here

Convenient location. Half a dozen rats in front upon arriving

For the Price and Location its Perfect for an Old Historic Building Hotel, but if your picky its not for you. I rented 3 rooms for me and my guest, the 2 bed room (411) was big and newly renovated it was really nice, the other two rooms where double bed small rooms, and they was small, one was super small but it worked for 1 night. I think the only thing i would recommend if rooms are small at-least have BRAND NEW PLUSH BEDS in them, which neither double had, mine 407 was uncomfortable and way to broke in. BUT overall if your not picky this place works, i would book again, the location is surrounded by shops and restaurants and life. Oh one thing the bathrooms where all nice, showers hot and strong water pressure which really made it nice. Overall for an historic hotel it works.

It was fine. Perfect for my needs. I needed to spend the night close to my job site and it was three blocks walking distance and a great price for this area.

This Hotel has outrageous business practices. They cancelled our booking even before we had checked in, allegedly on the grounds that we had not provided a proper credit at the check in. It was clearly a case of a Hotel cancelling a booking that was a good deal in peak season in order to charge someone else extra.

There was nothing to like. The place was terrible, the room was incredibly small, the bathroom vent did not work and the hotel personnel could not fix it because they said that my room was scheduled for "a complete restoration". It made me wonder why I was assigned a room that was known for been in such poor state. The bed was incredibly noisy, it made a very loud creaking nose every time I made the smallest movement, making it very hard to fall asleep. Wifi was not available except in the lounge. On the second day of my stay they did not make the room and on the following day they just did the bed without cleaning the bathroom. I would never book this hotel again.

Great area. Walking distance to everywhere. A convenient store and restaurants are only half block away from the hotel. The room was good considering its reasonable price.
