Days Inn Washington DC - Connecticut Avenue

Relatively inexpensive lodging in DC close to the metro. An older building, but clean and quiet. Nice university neighborhood. Parking extra, and garage old. No free breakfast. But cheap compared to most D.C. Hotels. You get what you pay for.

Decent hotel. Very clean. Close to the metro station. Wi-Fi wasn't up to par.

The experience was good but far from downtown and the cost of taxi was a lot and the time on the train was a lot.

This is an older but renovated hotel. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, so it was a good value. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby with easy access to Metro.

No restaurants around...small mini pillows...bathroom outdated...one small elevator.

The room was excellent. But the carpet outside had terrible odor

The other guests were super loud and the walls were thin. But overall the room was clean and fairly comfortable.

If you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay during a trip to D.C., this is it. Small, clean rooms, friendly staff, no food, pool, gym room.

Definitely an older building but the room was very clean. Staff was very friendly. Very convenient location to restaurants and to our main objective the following day, the Zoo. We were able to leave our car in their lot until 3pm the day of our checkout as to save on parking at the Zoo. The bus runs from the hotel block and drops you off at the Zoo entrance within about 5-10 minutes ( very convenient)

In the city close to the Metro. Awesome Italian restaurant next door. Staff very helpful. Rooms small and no refrigerator.

This Days Inn is an older place though parts, like our room, has been renovated fairly recently. There are areas that do look a bit worn and paint has been put over paint and a bit less attractive. However, everything worked well, it was clean and the best part was the staff who were very nice, very friendly and very helpful. We were there for its proximity to American University and it was close enough. The area also had restaurants, a Starbucks, a CVS, a four level Burger King and a small store a few blocks south. Though, certainly, it was certainly not a 'late night' social area as around Cleveland or Woodley Park. the Metro, was only a few minutes walk away, very convenient.

Easy acess to the Metro to get into D.C. Has a great restaurant next-door.

This was way too expensive for the room. My husband has stayed there for around $50 cheaper. They put us in a handicapped room - I think because I had a child with me and they thought I wouldn't care. I didn't mind the bathroom so much but the shower head was just hanging and couldn't be mounted anywhere so it was awkward to take a shower. Literally no amenities - not even a treadmill.

It's a perfect location for where our son is living now so we hope to stay there again. Nice place - excellent value.

The stay was horrible. The room was not clean enough, I received fraudulent calls from scammers on the hotel phone. And the staff was mediocre

I needed a place to satay for a few days. Standard hotel that for the job done.

Great location, near Van Ness metro stop. Not too far from Zoo and other attractions. Safe neighborhood, lots of different ethnic restaurants and other places to eat. On site parking less than $25. Checking in/out was quick . Coffee available in lobby 24/7. Room was at rear and very quiet and comfortable.

I was in town for business and this hotel was centrally located to the two places I most needed to be. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I have stayed here before and will continue to stay here in the future. Parking is a little tight and an added cost that brings up the expected price and although there is coffee in the lobby, there is nothing in the morning on which to snack...

I like this hotel , clean and neat. the staff also friendly

I stayed at this hotel with my mom for a concert in town. It has an excellent location right by the metro and close to shops and restaurants. The room was small but that's expected in DC. Good value for the price but not one of the nicer DC hotels. I would stay here again however.
