Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed and sparkling clean bathrooms.

I was originally booked here, for business. The room was clean, bed comfortable, and the quiet atmosphere was relaxing after a long working day. With a refrigerator in the room, I was able to keep leftovers from lunch, and bottled waters. The restaurant offers breakfast and dinner. When I was forc d to lay over a few days, due to weather, I rebooted through Orbitz, and was able to get one of the last two rooms available. I would highly recommend this Hotel. I told my coworkers I hope we book there in the future.

Room was large enough, but shower was small in size. Great location for access to restaurants and jogging in Rock Creek Park. Friendly, helpful staff. Reasonable prices for breakfast if you want to dine in. Fitness room was adequate but small and confining. Perhaps not many guests use it. Room prices add to the attractiveness of the hotel.

Interesting and attractive room decor, nice facilities, good overall experience

You did a great job in the bathrooms, common area's etc., made the stay more home warming.

The Churchill was amazing - incredible service, a hotel with European character. Impeccably clean. And a great price.

Location was prime, very close to where I needed to be and also incredibly centric.

Conveniently located in Downtown. Very affordable price. Interior in the hotel and rooms like nice and classy. The only downside is having to pay an extra $46 a night for parking.

Every staff member was friendly and helpful. Location is convenient. Pleasant half mile walk to Metro station at Dupont Circle.

Went for work conference and enjoyed staying away from main event. Friendly staff. Wonderful room

The Churchill was a very pleasant surprise. The room was bright and clean, and the bathroom was modern and spacious. Location is good, and the rates were fabulous. I'll be very glad to stay there again and again. The only nit, and it's minor, is that there was no coffee maker in the room, which almost every hotel has these days. But that's not critical, and I'll definitely return to the Churchill.

Very helpful staff; nice quiet room comfy bed overall would recommend but is on a steep hill

It was beautiful layout and near all main attraction D.C has to offer.

The bed was comfortable and clean, but the noise level made it hard to get a good night's sleep. Elevator cables bang together and walls thin. Bathroom clean, recently refurbed, and very small.

Hotel staff was wonderful and it was a neat hotel. My only complaint is that the bed was hard as a rock and no microwave available for use.

The Lobby is pleasant and comfortable, the front desk staff personable, polite and helpful. The room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. I appreciated the safety features in the bathroom - safety bars, a bath seat and all shining clean. I had a pleasant breakfast at the restaurant, too. I highly recommend this hotel.

Mini vacation get away with wife, Had a great time and seen the sites and history of Washington DC. Weather was AWESOME.

The hotel and staff was very accommodating. The property was in good shape despite the age. Room was extremely large and spacious. Very.charming. would have given 5 stars across the board if there was coffee in the room.

The Churchill Hotel is housed in a beautiful Beaux-Artes building near Dupont Circle / Rock Creek Park that HAD been a charming, old-world style, cosy retreat until re-modeled ("recently" according to staff). This was my first stay there since about 8 years ago. Unfortunately the oriental rugs, cherry wood furniture and classic light fixtures have been replaced with terrible black, purple and cream-colored modern kitsch. The rooms were fairly clean, but sinks did not drain, showers were very low pressure, and the rooms on re-modeled floors had little to no sound insulation from the hallways and elevator shaft (listened to it all night). The restaurant downstairs was very marginal, the service team was out of synch (took 30 minutes to find a package I had received there)--basically not really trying too hard. Would stay there in a pinch, but would certainly not recommend.
