Honestly, for the price it is great - it’s just old, the couch feels like it has been sat on for 30 years, the tables in the rooms are shaky and unstable. But the beds are great, amenities are great - so overall, good choice, but they’ve cheaped out on the renovations.

I loved the whole setup of the hotel. It was in a quiet, convenient location. The staff was very courteous. The room was clean and well stocked. They provided dishes and the kitchen appliances were clean and all working. Didn't get a chance to check out the gym, but will definitely stay here again.

The room is very outdated and even though it's clean,there are stains that make it look dirty. The building is also on a two pipe system that doesn't allow heat and AC to be on at once, which is fine but they should reveal that be4 booking. The weather was very all over the place during my stay, luckily the windows open and the place does have box fans. Parking is also a pain. I don't think it's worth the price, but it did the job for what we needed.

We showed up at 1pm and they charged us an early check-in fee of $50. Never had that happen before and Ive traveled the world. There was a wasp in our room! Eek! The blinds are broken, kitchen is in mild disrepair and the clock is still not on day light savings time. Parking was unclear, so we are at a garage 2 blocks away. Wont be back.

We liked the location. It was convenient to a grocery, restaurants, and to the White House and other tourism areas. The front desk staff were polite and helpful. The hotel felt tired and in need of a facelift with flooring, wall coverings, bathroom and kitchen fixtures. However, the bedding and towels were of nice quality.

The building is so old that the whole building is on either AC or Heating. Therefore, no heat in our rooms when the room is 60F and freezing cold. The carpets were so dirty and bathroom, kitchen, and door are so old, it was not great.

The suite was comfortable, clean, and priced right. There weren’t enough towels for the number of guests but the front desk staff were helpful in providing more on request. The location is fantastic, right next to Georgetown. Great neighborhood and plenty to do. The room had a strong smell of mildew, outdated stove/ oven, rusted drains in the bathroom, and an occasional sewage type smell that we think came from the drains. These things could’ve been specific to our suite and wouldn’t deter me from booking again.
