Great Host and Location

Had an amazing stay. Host was very accommodating. Location was great near alot of restaurants. Would stay again.

Nice but noisy

The check in process & the place itself was nice. I am a travelling healthcare professional who stays in one location for 3 months; so I have honed in on what makes a place good versus more difficult to enjoy. While Vijay and his wife are lovely, the location is not ideal for many reasons. Cons: sketchy homeless guy outside of front door most all nights; various arguments/police trying to disperse people and awakening me at all times of night (I'm a heavy sleeper); and the neighborhood has gone downhill a lot. Look up H St corridor &crime. I ended up sleeping on pullout couch at end/less comfy. Communication about setting up times to fix items (less than 24 hrs) and time spent during fixing ( 6 hrs). I was not there but I shouldn't have been expected to waste an entire day off for maintenance/repair. They also used my personal vacuum to clean up their mess as there was not one provided, which is needed during an extended stay. I also felt odd when I went down to ask a neighbor if they had a can opener since one wasn't provided, and Vijay interrupted this interaction via his Ring camera on the steps. It just felt like I couldn't have an interaction without being watched. The shower was not as hot as it was after they fixed a leak in the furnace closet. Pros: Vijay and wife are nice and attentive. No sheets provided for the sofa bed and they brought some the next day after asking. Once inside, you do feel safe and everything is very comfortable. The water pressure was good
