We've stayed in various budget hotels (Travelodge etc) and never had a problem. We hadn't heard of Days Inn, but they looked ok and as we got it as part of a deal with Warwick Castle (which was brilliant) we thought we'd give it a shot. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. The member of staff on the frontdesk was friendly. However, that's the end of the positives. There was nothing, on their breakfast menu or any of the restaurants available to eat for ceoliacs (Travelodge don't either, but there are usually options nearby, which they can point you to) The hotel had a strange, unpleasant smell. Our "double" bed was two singles bases rotated 90 degrees, with a terrible mattress (think less than an airbed level of support) and pillows that were as effective a folded tissue. However, before we even got to actually sleeping someone set the fire alarm off. I overheard the member of staff accusing someone of smoking in their room, so understand that isn't the hotel's fault. The alarm was so loud that my 7 year old jumped out of bed, banging her foot on her bed and cutting it. Once we realised it was a false alarm I went to ask for some ice for her foot, thankfully we had first aid stuff. Someone was sent to Starbucks for some ice, but there little or no interest in what she hurt it on, or how she did it, or even asking if they could help with first aid, or a plaster! Back in our rooms, we were so uncomfortable and fed up that we decided to leave and I drove nearly 3 hours home again. Needless to say, we won't be staying in a Days Inn hotel again.

Have stayed in these properties before and have always been happy with my stays , always clean ,tidy and comfy. Staff nice and friendly. Ok may seem dated but always tick the boxes.

I booked at the last minute and got a very comfortable room at an incredibly reasonable price. My only criticism is that there were not enough plug sockets in the room so not easy to charge laptop and phone etc

First impressions weren't too bad, but as my evening went on i began to notice the problems. Hairs in the bath, dirty soap dispenser, thick dust on the arms of the sofa, and ANTS! A few on the desk at first but when i awoke in the morning there where hundreds on the desk! Reported the problems as i checked out but the man behind the reception was totally uninterested.

Easy access, free wifi, in a service so fast food available. Good spacious family room, comfy beds, one double and 2 singles, clean room and toilet. Free parking. TV in room. Coffee facilities. Would visit again.

The rooms were clean and adequate for a short overnight stay and the staff members were friendly. The two problems i encountered was that a staff member unlocked and accessed my room without knocking first, it wasn't an issue for me but a couple or individual could have been having a private moment. The other issue was that i paid £5.50 for a continental breakfast and when it was served the milk tasted sour. I got the milk replaced with fresh milk, however, it did not fill me with confidence that the rest of the items were fresh and i did not eat them. I did feel slightly sick after tasting the milk.

This hotel is so convenient and my work purposes and for obtaining access to the Midlands, the staff are polite and willing to help out with a 24 hour counter service. The food court in the service station closes around 9:30 pm to 10:00 pm, however the WHSmith stays open all night.

I booked here at the last minute and was not sure in all honesty what I was getting. Large rooms, clean comfortable and great for a one night stay. Staff were friendly. I would stay here again. You park in the services and enter your rev number at reception so go not charged for parking. The hotel reception sells drinks, alcohol, snacks etc. Considering next to motorway wasn't that noisy.

Really conveniently located next to Services so a minute walk to purchase food and drinks. Corridors well lit and clean but non-smoking wing reeked of cigarette smoke. Room didn't thankfully. Linen clean and crisp, bed really comfortable, exceptionally quiet all night. Male receptionist on checkin said all the standard phrases but came across very insincere and wasn't helpful when I asked about parking bays closest to the Hotel ( the disabled signs are missing from some of the bays so don't get caught out by parking in one if not a blue badge holder ), receptionist on checkout was very friendly and professional. Would definitely use again when repeat trip.

Used this particular chain twice now and amazed at how reasonable the price of the rooms are. Incredible rooms always clean, well stocked with towels and extra pillows and tea/coffee. Great staff always on hand. Quiet rooms so u never hear people in other rooms. Would definitely recommend this chain for anyone looking for a comfy get away that’s looking after the penny’s
