Room was comfortable but carpet had lots of stains. Wardrobe for hanging clothes but little shelving space. Cooked breakfast on the dry side and not very warm. Front of house at breakfast time excellent as was homemade granola. Drinks and car parking overpriced.

There were four different flashing/bright lights in the room that could not be covered up- which were very irritating when trying to sleep. The room was incredibly hot and uncomfortable because of the temperature. This meant I had a terrible night’s sleep, and sleep Is super important to me. The actual room Itself was lovely and very nicely decorated, also well appointed with a kettle and ironing facilities. The leisure Club was small but very useful- we enjoyed the swimming pool. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, I wish I had caught her name, she was a real credit to the hotel! Breakfast was ok, very very busy on a Sunday morning and we had to wait ten minutes for a table. The food was ok- would have preferred hash browns to fried potato slices but a lovey selection of bread, pastries and cereals. Would have been nice to have had an omelette option. When we checked in to the hotel early, our rooms were ready which was a bonus and the lady who checked us in was very helpful! The location of the hotel is excellent, walking distance of town and some very lovely restaurants and the RSC theatre, which was the main reason for our visit! We saw the BGF which incredible.

The room was very good, tidy and comfortable. It was nice to have a fridge in there too. Unfortunately, for a property of this size, the pool was unbelievably small and was sadly far too inadequate to be enjoyable.

Poor stay overall Cold shower in the night and still in the morning. Room was noisy as family next door all you could hear is them chatting all night ( they were not the issue as they wernt loud, just everything comes through the vent into the room i was in) Window didnt shut tight so with the wind there was ratteling and whistleing. Asked to change room but got put to a connecting room which was also noisy. Not often i cant wait to leave a hotel.
