ibis Styles Warszawa City3.0 out of 5.0

For the price, I'd highly recommend the Ibis Styles, as long as you are able to put up with a few small problems. First, the good - the hotel is clean and modern. The beds are SUPER comfy, some of the best I've ever slept in any hotel. The breakfast is a massive buffet with practically everything under the sun, and all with a lovely view over the city from the 7th floor. The staff are generally helpful and the check-in/check-out process was simple. The hotel is quiet and away from the bustle of the city. Now, the not-so-good. Location-wise, the hotel is around a 30 minute walk from the Old Town. The roads are flat, but it's not an entertaining journey, and we'd rather save our legs for walking in the city centre. Public transport links into the Old Town aren't plentiful around the hotel. Fortunately, Uber is very cheap. Be careful with taxis, which are more expensive, and there are unfortunately taxi touts (one tried to claim that it was a 50 zloty minimum fare in the city centre - this is complete nonsense, so don't be afraid to say no!) As for the room itself, while it is clean, quiet and the beds are comfy, it's not without its quirks. The air-con is largely ineffective and turns off automatically when you leave the room. The walk-in shower, while powerful and warm, is only enclosed by half a sheet of glass, with a slanting floor completely ineffective at preventing spillage. We ended up using two hand towels every day just to soak up the splashback. Speaking of the bathroom, it is enclosed not by a wall, but a window! So much for privacy! There are tea/coffee making facilities, but no milk or appropriate substitute. As other reviewers have noted, storage space is at a premium, and there is no safety deposit box or mini-fridge (although apparently you can request the latter). As you can probably appreciate, however, these are niggles rather than deal-breakers. What IS a deal-breaker, however, is the fact this hotel is incredibly cheap to stay in, even by Warsaw standards - and that makes the niggles a lot easier to deal with. Would we stay here again? Yes, without a doubt. Despite its problems, the Styles has a certain charm, and the comfy bed and amazing breakfast more than make up for these little issues.
Lovely relaxed stay. Staff were friendly, breakfast was great and the location was within easy walking distance of the centre as well as close to various bus, tram and metro options. Room was modern, clean and comfy. Only suggestion would be more storage in the room.
I was impressed with the Ibis Styles of Warsaw City. It is new and modern. It has a relaxed atmosphere. The lobby is welcoming. The reception staff is good. The room was clean and bright. Bed is comfy. Pillows are comfortable. Breakfast was good. Would stay again in ot if I am back in Warsaw
Clean rooms, excellent breakfast, actually one of the best breakfasts which I had in different hotels, but rooms are small and not sufficient space to put your staff, no shelves in bathroom for toiletries or shelves in the room. Location is good close to center, but away from crowd. Uber in Warsaw is very cheap trip from airport cost us 18 Zlotux opposite 40 by taxi. Do not miss while in Warsaw Jewish museum and Narodna Art Gallery
We stayed 6 days. Had a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was amazing. Clean rooms. Parking costs 69 for one day. A bit far from the center. Munja restaurant (in the corner) was super tasty. Front desk- most of them were very nice except specific one that choose to be not nice at all. I recommand this hotel if you have a car.
Very convenient to main train station, walking distance. Located on nice street. Lovely bright interiors. Room was excellent and well maintained. Breakfast room was great, on higher level and views to look out. Breakfast spread very good. We walked to old town, all flat walking, numerous restaurants close by as well. Enjoyed our stay here,
We stayed for 5 nights. The hotel located 10-15 minutes walk from the city center, the central station and Zlote Tarasy, also about 8 minutes drive to the old town. The room was very nice and clean, with a coffee/tea station. The bed was very comfortable. We had some truble with adjusting the air condition temperature but no big issue as long as it was cool enough. The closet was a bit small and there was no safe in the room. Breakfast was super! Served at the 7th floor, overlooking the city view, the buffet offered a variety of cheese, vegetables, bread, eggs, pastries, coffee and you can make your own waffle. The receptionists were very kind and helpful. There are many restaurants close by. All in all its an excellent hotel, highly recommended.
Stayed here for one night in June. Everything about the hotel was really nice; including the large size of the room. The major downside is the air con doesn’t function properly and works more like an eco-heating system than a cooling system; meaning the rooms were sitting at an ambient temperature of between 22C and in our case, 24.5C which made it uncomfortable. In the Summer time, this would put me off staying here again as the heat from the bathroom and shower increases the room temperature and some of the room windows didn’t open to allow for ventilation. Pillows also very soft without a selection to choose different ones but that’s really a smaller issue in comparison with the air conditioning. Staff were extremely nice and helpful and worked hard to make it an enjoyable experience for the guests.
The hotel is ideally located within Warsaw with a short drive from the airport and a short walk to the plaza with shops, cinema and restaurants. The old town of Warsaw is a further walk but not far. Breakfast at the hotel runs for 4 hours form 0630 - 1030 hrs with plenty of choice for everyone. The rooms are very comfortable as is the actual bed. Highly recommended.
It is really good place to stay close to the center of Warsaw. Nice, modern and clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast. I was staying there only one night but can easily recommend to anyone visiting Warsaw.
