We recently visited Warsaw for the first time and stayed at Hotel Hetman. The reception staff were pleasant and friendly when we checked in. We were very pleased with our room - which was a twin room and very spacious. The bathroom contained a toilet, washbasin and shower and was a good size. It was also good to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was a large buffet spread and I especially liked the bread rolls and the wonderful blue cheese (though I don't know what type of cheese it was). The hotel lobby was nicely decorated with paintings of Warsaw views. Another good thing about the hotel is easy access to public transport. Thee are tram stops nearby and Dworzec Wilenski Metro station is a few minutes walk away. Chopin Airport is easily reached from the hotel - take the Metro from Dworzec Wilenski to Stadion (one stop) and then catch the S2 train from the Stadion railway station to the Airport. We definitely plan to stay at Hotel Hetman again.
Have just returned from the hotel Herman. The bedroom and bathroom were both very spacious and extremely clean. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you hotel Herman for a great stay.
This is the second time i am at this Hotel and i always feel good staying there . The rooms are very comfortable and in good size , the staff is very helpful and nothing seems to much to ask for , they always do what they can . I highly recommend this Hotel .
Nice hotel in silent place, near park, near Old town (500m cross the bridge over Wisla) about 2km from National sport stadium. Breakfast much better than in some 4 star hotels. In room complimentary amenities, tea, coffee, sparkling water, plain one as well.
Very nice hotel in an old building; a modern inside. Not far away from the metro Wilenska station and other public transport. Good size rooms and bathrooms, cleaned. Helpful staff. Much better priced than hotels in City center.
Close to public transportation and 2 stops to Old Town. Wonderful breakfast in an air conditioned room. The hotel is on a quiet street too. Ask for a fan at check-in since there is no A-C in the rooms.
Stayed here for 5 nights. Room, including toilet, had plenty of space. Room was also neat and breakfast really good. Big minus was that there were no fridge nor air conditioning. Hotel was located well. It was easy to walk to the old town (took approx 20 min) or take a metro and explore the city of Warsaw. Near hotel Hetman you can also find nice pubs and restaurants. Our favourites were W Oparach Absurdu and Skamiejka.
The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious. Only minor thing is that the room didn't have air conditioning, but the small front balcony helped. Breakfast was not bad and there's a lot of variety. The guys working in the reception are friendly and very helpful. The location is off the main road so noise is quite minimal. Metro links are very close by and the station is only one stop from PGE Narodowy stadium, so very useful if visiting the stadium for a concert or sport. It's is also on the same line to go to the Warsaw Uprising museum. Didn't use the tram but the tram stops are only 5 mins walk away so getting up to the old town is quite easy. It's also quite close to Soho, the up and coming part with trendy restaurants. All in all, it's quite a nice place to stay. Note, there are no late check outs available.
We stayed here for 2 nights. We got exactly what we payed for, we booked based on a mixture of price, comfort and location. The price was good though I think you get what you pay for. The bed was a little old And sagged in the middle, the whole hotel was a little worn, there was no air con and the corridors were loud. The location was about half hour walk to Warsaw old town which was well worth the visit and where we spent the majority of our time. Time again I would try to stay closer to the old town or in the new part of the city.
I arrived before official check-in time and was offered my room immediately, without any hassle. The room overlooked the street, right above eh entrance porch, with a small balcony. No problem with noise, the cobble road outside has little traffic. The room was large, high ceilings, bathroom with an effective shower, and water bottles supplied. Breakfast was excellent, great choice and fresh produce. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a very enjoyable two night visit, especially since the hotel is well placed for transport links [metro, tram within 150 meters], if you wish to explore the city.
