The room needed serious work - creaky old beds (and bed height was inches off the ground which made getting in and out of bed challenging) were a major disappointment. The hotel staff was great and the location as convenient however.

We wanted to stay close to the square in Warsaw so we picked this hotel. The photos of the outside are a little misleading as the hotel really doesn’t appear as luxurious as it does in the photos. It’s a very old building with no lift and no room AC. Our room while it was clean, looked like something out of a bad disco. It was very hot while we were there, no AC. This usually wouldn’t be an issue, but the crowd noise below was loud, even for us.Don’t expect a taxi to drive you up to it. You have to walk with luggage as taxis are not allowed down this far.

I stayed there with my wife for 4 days in August 2014. The location is fantastic, but, like all hotels in that area, hard to walk to. It was tough lugging our suitcases there on foot, as no taxis are allowed in the area. Also, the room we were assigned had beams jutting in all directions, leaving us with virtually no head room. I'm not a tall guy but the room didn't work for my head. Someone troll sized would have fit. Great views. Great location. Tough, cramped rooms.

You can't get a better place to stay to see the Old Town area. It is right at the castle and court yard. Yes, it was a bit noisy at night until after mid-night but that is a small price to pay for such a beautiful location. The room was uniquely decorated in a music theme with a non-functional piano as a table. Everything was neat and clean. The staff helpful. There is so much to see that is in walking distance. Unfortunately, I only had one night so I only saw around Old Town. I recommend this hotel and I rarely recommend anything! Can I ad a 1/2 star to the rating?

I stayed here for the last night of my business/vacation trip. You can't beat the location in Old Town. It's near bus stops, one of which goes right to the airport, at a fraction of the cost of a taxi or shuttle. Despite being in the heart of the activity, it was super quiet. The staff was phenomenal. The room adorable, spacious, clean. The only drawback is that it doesn't have an elevator, but the staff carried my bag upstairs when showing me personally to my room. They also have a private airport shuttle option which worked perfectly for me, as I had a very early flight out the next morning. Apart from the lack of elevator, I would have given this a perfect score!

The hotel is across the street from the castle and a few blocks from the main square. It's a convenient area for many of the things visitors will want to see. Lots of restaurants nearby. The rooms are clean and fine. The only drawback is that there is no elevator. Also taxis from the airport cannot pull up to the door of the hotel, but drop you about two short streets away.

The Castle Inn is a short walk from the Old Town square. My room was very clean with a comfortable bed that I wish I had at home. The staff was friendly, they got a taxi for me on Monday morning when I left. I read the reviews of this hotel before I made plans and some people commented about the noise from the street. The weather was perfect when I was there - sunny and 85 degrees - there were many tourists. I did not have a problem with the noise, I closed the window and was quite comfortable. They provide earplugs on the table next to the bed in case you need them. There are great restaurants and bars a short walk away. Try the Zywiec. Doug B

this is the perfect place to stay in old Town Warsaw hands down. Great location with interesting rooms at the right price!

Castle Inn was the perfect place to stay during my short trip to Warsaw. It's in the beautiful old city / castle district and a short walk away from the University of Warsaw and a shopping / dining strip. All the rooms are unique and very clean. I definitely recommend this hotel!

Location in center of Old Town Square...great for siteseeing.....bad for taxi....no access...had to walk across the square with luggage...no parking. Room was very hot...not even a fan never mind A/C. Had to leave window open, so noise was incredible until 1 AM. Breakfast was inadequate. Started 1/2 hour late. Warm juice and milk. Basically was just ham and cheese and bread.

Great value for money! Cosy hotel in the middle of bustling Warsaw Old Town. Excellent service and breakfast! The only thing I didn't like- my stay was too short... Will be back sooner than you expect-thank you for everything!

four flights and no elevator. desk understaffed and not too friendly
