Very clean and well kept. Beds were very comfortable and slept well. Very quiet overall better than most. AC unit wasn't a growling beast but did it's job without excessive noise. Breakfast very good with some hot items. Highly recommended

Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Quality linens on the bod. The halls and lobby were hot and stuffy - no air conditioning, but the AC in the room worked well.

Our room was very clean and we had plenty of hot water. The property itself is very old and worn and doesn’t show well. It was ok for one night, but I wouldn’t want to stay there again.

Quick stop in route to St Louis. Met needs and much cheaper than going into St. Louis on weekend night. Room was clean and large. Bed fine. Lobby and rest of hotel somewhat dated . No elevator to second floor rooms. Hot Breakfast of scrambled eggs, potatoes, biscuits gravy, or waffles. Trains run nearby and can hear at night, as well as highway traffic.

Bullet hole in door of our room

Our room was clean and the hotel was quiet. However, our room had a bullet hole in the door and the smoke detector over the bed was covered in plastic. I’m pretty sure the hotel was not full, and it seems inappropriate that they assigned guests to a room whose door let light from the hallway in through a bullet hole. I’m not sure if the previous guests covered the smoke detector or if they had covered it to paint the ceiling, but I would think they would check on things like this. We are requesting a refund for our stay.
