The creek out back was amazing. The state had a burn ban in affect due to SEVERE drought so we couldn't utilize the fire pit areas. For being late in season there were not many options for dining. I just wish we could have spent more time at the lodge chillin outside, the running water from the creek and river were amazing. The new owners seem to be making upgrades, very friendly people.

A little piece of heaven

This was an overnight stop on our trip which suited our purpose. The room was small but met all our needs. There was no staff on site but communication through text was great. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. There are several fire pits out back alongside a stream.

Our room was clean, comfortable, cute. We liked that the had the coffee urn in the lobby every morning. The area is beautiful in the fall. The Deco restaurant was our favorite, and the Thai place very good. Not the quietest place, so if you are counting on that, it may not be a great fit. (thin walls: other visitor's toilets flushing & bathroom fans, talking, etc.) traffic sounds, wooden sidewalk exaggerated foot clomping sounds close to where we slept If you're a heavy sleeper, you'll be ok. We are light sleepers and it was an issue.

Our stay here was perfect! The rooms were VERY clean and all of the staff were super friendly and helpful. My husband and I enjoyed the coffee in the lobby. We had everything we needed! The outside space is beautiful. My kids loved this place just as much as the adults.

The property owner walked us thru a simple process to check in even though we never spoke. It was a last minute stay because we were driving in from Quebec City and needed a break. It was a neat clean little place to stay. It was all we needed.

Check in can be done through and app thats sent via text or in person, rooms have keyless entries with a code so made it super convenient. The back area was soooo cute! They have 4 fire pits next to a river with lighting and a bridge with some trails. We reserved 2 rooms and while 1 was perfect the other did have a squeeky bed and toliet flushed wierd. Other than that our stay was perfect and we wished we had more time to spend there.

Great little lodge with river views

This is a great place to stay overnight or for several days! The rooms are nicely designed, and the fireplace in the lobby is a nice touch when thinking ahead to fall/winter. The highlight of the property is the multiple fire pits and seating areas down along the river. It was beautiful down there, and spending the evening along the river was exactly what I had hoped for. I will be staying again!
