Ferienhaus Waren (Müritz)
On the outskirts of Waren, in the Warenshof district, the holiday home for 2 people, completely renovated in 2022, is located on the owner's approx. 1,200 sqm residential property. Nearby there is a lunch supply, as well as train and bus stops, supermarkets are approx. 900 m away and a beautiful beach on the Müritz is just under 2 km away.40 sqm large, centrally heated and equipped with insect screens on the windows, the non-smoking holiday home can be accessed from the street as well as separately from the rear, quiet area of the property. It has a living room (couch, flat-screen TV, radio/CD player) with open-plan kitchen (dining area, hob, fridge with freezer, microwave, dishwasher, various small kitchen appliances), a bedroom (2 single beds put together) and a bathroom (shower, WC), as well as a covered, furnished terrace, barbecue, car park, sunbathing facilities on the large property and a lockable bicycle storage room.
The total price includes final cleaning, bed linen, towels, electricity and water. To be paid on site: Tourist tax. Pets are not allowed in this property.
The state-recognised spa town of Waren (Müritz) is located in charming surroundings directly on the lake of the same name, the largest inland lake in Germany. It is also the tourist centre of the Mecklenburg Lake District. Attractions include the historic old town, the harbour with its passenger boat service, adjacent promenade and numerous catering facilities as well as the Müritzeum, a nature discovery centre with a huge freshwater aquarium and exhibitions on the flora and fauna of the lake district. The town also has open-air swimming pools, boat and bike hire, a surfing and sailing school and many shopping facilities. Waren is the gateway to the Müritz National Park, which can be easily explored via the well-developed network of cycle paths (also in combination with the passenger boat service). Nach vielen Jahren wollten wir endlich einmal wieder Neuland betreten, und zwar die Mecklenburgische Seenplatte. Dafür wählten wir als Unterkunft eine Ferienwohnung im Warener Stadtteil Warenshof, ruhig und etwas abseits am Stadtrand gelegen, mit einem schönen Garten, und vor allem ebenerdig, also barrierefrei. Die Ausstattung entsprach unseren Vorstellungen (vor allem das Gefrierfach im Kühlschrank ist sehr brauchbar, wenn man nicht jeden Morgen zum Brötchenholen 1 km fahren möchte). Bei schönem Wetter kann man die Abende auf der Sitzgelegenheit hinter der Ferienwohnung verbringen, den Rest des Tages erkundet man ja zumeist die Müritz und die anderen Seen. Alles in allem, es war ein toller Urlaub und wir möchten uns nochmals bei den Vermietern für die schöne Unterkunft bedanken.
