The staff were lovely but we only stayed for one night and unfortunately the room stank of cigarettes in the morning (clearly someone had been smoking just outside it) the staff came to check and were apologetic but we weren't offered compensation. We also found an old sock that had been left there. Again we told the staff and they apologised but nothing further.

Spacious clean room with everything we needed. Lovely warm, clean pool. Our room unfortunately was not made up while we were there, bins not emptied, bathroom not restocked. All the staff we interacted with were brilliant. Front desk, bar and restaurant, and the spa. Could not have been friendlier, or more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. But Zara on front desk was exceptional. She made us so welcome, and on discovering details about our reservation were not on their record, organised a card and gifts to make our celebration that much more special. The grounds and spa are great. Our room was excellent.
