Room was recently remodeled and very clean. Breakfast was not much. There were 2 restaurants within walking distance- Waffle House and a bar with outside seating. The food there was pretty good - we didn’t eat at the Waffle House.

Room was ok for the price, put only thing for breakfast was a waffle maker and packages blueberry muffin. And coffee machine was broke. He ad to good out to eat and get coffee

The room was nice. And front desk was friendly. People out side our room were very loud and banging on railings till at least 1:30 am. There was nothing for breakfast except waffles and packaged blueberry muffins. Coffee machine was broken and only had coffee thermos. Nothing for tea drinkers.

Free breakfast is a joke. Your only choice is to make your own waffle. No fruit, no toast, no yogurt, no bacon or sausage. Not even any imitation eggs. Coffee is instant from a machine.

Everything was good, only 2 things negatives, which were 1 we had heavy luggage and an elevator would have been much easier than the stairs we had to use. And 2, there was a bar right next to property, a lot of people outside smoking, and not just cigarettes. Not sure what could be done concerning this, but wanted to acknowledge it for people with kids mostly.

Safety Concerns and Very Noisy Location

Bad location right on top of the highway. Dogs barked outside all night long- another bad aspect. The bar next door was very loud- another bad aspect. Signs everywhere stating the place is patrolled by police and cameras everywhere- big safety concern. And my license was collected upon arrival. I’ve only ever had that done once before in years of traveking. I later learned it was because it was a drug area. Hotels don’t ask for licenses usually. Just credit cards for incidentals and payment. This indicated another safety concern. We were just passing through, so the room itself was clean and worked, but we would not stay again because of the neighborhood and noise concerns.
