Enjoy some carefree holidays - surrounded by woods and meadows - in a unique atmosphere of a typical Allgäu farmhouse from the 17th century. Century.
We offer 200 sqm living space and 800 sqm garden in a beautiful secluded location above the Niedersonthofener lake. Your accommodation is accessible via a private access road.

The living room
Our Rocky Docky was probably in the 16. Built in the 19th century and farmed until 1890 as a farm. Then the property fell into a 100-year sleep. In 1993, we woke up the ruins from their fairy-tale sleep and filled them with new life - under the watchful eye of historic preservation. Enjoy some carefree holidays - surrounded by woods and meadows.

Through the original preserved front door you come into the "Hüs". Here you will find plenty of space in a spacious wardrobe.
The living room kitchen is located in the former cow barn today. Here you can try out your cooking skills in addition to the gas stove on a basic oven.
Opposite is the living room, the "Stube". For you there is a living area and a large table for leisurely laps available. The wooden ceiling you will find here could be completely preserved. This room can also be heated with a basic oven.
The staircase leads to the upper doorway, also called "Sohler". From there you enter the bedrooms. All bedrooms are equipped with TV.
In the garden you will find plenty of space to relax, on the cozy sun wooden deck you can unwind.
Of course, we will personally welcome our guests to the arrival.

- the low ceiling height from 2.03 to 2.07 m
- the slightly crooked walls and ceilings
- the doors in the former stable section with theirs

Hier kann man die Seele baumeln lassen!
Wir waren als Familie mit einem 2-jährigen Kind und den Schwiegereltern für eine Woche im Rocky Docky und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Das Haus ist einfach wundervoll und wir haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt. Alles ist liebevoll, stilvoll und hochwertig renoviert und sehr sauber. Die Fußbodenheizung in den Badezimmern ist an kühleren Tagen unglaublich angenehm! Die Betten sind sehr bequem und groß, wir haben alle gut darin geschlafen. Die Schlafzimmer sind geräumig und mit Schränken ausgestattet, so dass sich Gepäck gut verstauen lässt und man die Schlafräume auch gerne mal nutzen kann, um sich zurück zu ziehen und ein gutes Buch zu lesen. Für unsere Tochter hat die Vermieterin ein Kinderreisebett zur Verfügung gestellt und auch ein Kinderhochstuhl war vorhanden. Die Küche ist wirklich umfangreich ausgestattet mit schönem Geschirr und hochwertigen Kochtöpfen, so dass es Spaß macht, dort zu kochen und zu essen. Das Wohnzimmer ist riesig und die einladende Couchlandschaft bietet Platz für viele Personen. Wir haben es genossen, den Ofen anzufeuern, der die Gemütlichkeit des Hauses noch steigert. Bei gutem Wetter ist das Sonnendeck im Garten wundervoll, wofür zahlreiche Gartenmöbel zur Verfügung stehen. Hier kann man die Ruhe genießen und ist völlig ungestört. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war unkompliziert und herzlich. Wir kommen bestimmt bald mal wieder ins Rocky Docky und freuen uns schon drauf!
