Lovely little house which was perfect for a casual weekend away. Positives: kitchen was really well fitted out, lounge area is comfortable and great for hanging out. Beds are comfortable. Negatives: toilet and laundry need a deep clean, glitch with cleaning meant our check in wasn’t very smooth. Would still stay again as good value for the price.

Great home away from home! As a family of 4 (with a dog) we stayed very comfortably. Location is great for exploring locally and not too far from Peaceful Bay or even Denmark. Would definitely stay here again.

Sweet little house. Full of kitchen equipment and appliances. Super hot shower. Great washer and dryer. Comfy beds - super clean sheets and towels. Reverse cycle air con to keep the chill away. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Winter experience

Very cosy after exploring in wet and cool weather, everything you need to be comfortable no stinginess with bedding throws kitchen and cleaning products. Best ever .

It was ok

The property was fine for what it was, neat and tidy pretty comfortable. Would have rated higher but hot water system was average, no hot water at all in kitchen, shower just warm enough. Old gas oven and cooktop needs an upgrade and BBQ doesnt get hot enough if plate has more than a couple of steaks on it also needs upgrade. Wouldnt say its brilliant value for money but it was ok.

Restorative Holiday

We greatly enjoyed our stay - very quiet location (despite part of our stay falling in the easter school holidays), close to centre of town (3 minute walk), and walking tracks Including to Coalmine Beach 2.4kms) just about at the door. Amenities were super adequate, beds comfortable, and house super clean with nice personal touches. Two weeks went far too quickly!

We absolutely loved Walpole Cottage. It's spotless, comfortable, and very well equipped. The beds are comfortable with good quality linen. Our dog loved the back yard and we had a great time. I can't recommend this place enough for a well priced get away. We'll be back!
