This very well known property will put you in awe, not just the fact that it was owned by Pat Boone but the sheer size of this hotel and surrounding grounds with beach, fire pit, bbqs, pool and hot tub. The staff go well out of their way to accommodate and make you smile. Very comfortable place to stay with Grand history!

The name of the facility includes the term resort which implies something nicer. The motel was just OK. If you only need a place to lay down your head and move on in the morning, this place serves that basic need. The overall presentation of this facility does not invite one to linger longer. A general refresh of wall and floor coverings would be nice.
Pubic hair in the sink and shower semen on the bed, filthy pillowcases and towels, owner and general manager Brian and Dee are absolute joke. They avoided our refund and Expedia and avoided us with my kids in a parking lot. Need to get a hold of BBB because this place is a slum
It was a reasonable stay. Condiments from the previous occupants were still in the refrigerator. beds comfortable. the grounds were messy and the hot tub was cloudy. Suggestion. Don't call yourself a resort.
I liked it ... it was kind of a vintage Resort that you could tell at one time it was a hotspot. It's been kept up the bathroom is very modern there's always room for improvements meaning the grounds on the outside could have more improvements more activities the fire pits don't like look like they've been used in a long time, but it was a nice quiet location and it was cool to see the tide come in and out.
This place is perfect if you want to be right on the ocean. DO NOT take your pups in the back, way too many thorns. Big beautiful Hotel, my husband and I had it all to ourselves, besides one guest across the hall. Lots of shells around. A bit pricey tho.
This is far from a resort. It's more like a scam of a business or a last resort. I'd MUCH rather sleep anywhere else. It should be shut down and the owners should be taken to small claims court. I'll be contacting the better business bureau.

Ehh
Was decent. Some areas needed cleaning. Not many people there. Bedding was old as there was tears in the sheets and pillowcases. Definitely outdated but the floor was clean. Room smelled clean. Bay view was a sliver from the window. But able to open window for breeze as there is no air conditioning. There was a ceiling fan which helped with the window open. Grounds needed care but I bet in it’s hay day it was a nice hotel. I feel I paid a little too much for what it was. What do you do when you book through here, get there, and go huh? Money already gone so please look before you leap but we survived so you would too.
Hidden back behind a little housing community is a lost gem. Alsi is a fabulous, fun resort staffed with some of the greatest people. First we met Hector! He was so fun and helpful. He told us all about the place and the fun they have with karaoke, a great restaurant and bar. My husband and I were sold at having dinner there. We had some amazing drinks made by Joe. Joe is the sweetest women around. She made sure we had everything we could have wanted and things we didn't know we needed. Our dinner was good but I think the menu needs a little revamping. It's got good food but not something for everyone. After we got our food and hard another drink we started singing karaoke and having so much fun. Then we went out on the private little beach area to watch the sunset. When we came back in Hector, knowing we are on vacation and getting our once a year trip offered to upgrade our room to a sweet with a large jet tub. The offer was so good we paid and moved into a beautiful room we never wanted to leave. It had a living room area, bed area and huge tub area. This was literally my favorite place on our vacation. When we left after a couple days of fun I genuinely felt like I was leaving friends. I really wish I could express how much fun we had and how truly amazing Hector and Joe were. Just go!

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
The resturant was out of everything. And the pool was filthy.
The entire facility looks nothing like the pictures. It is run down and has many issues. Didn’t even stay a single night. My daughter was so uncomfortable by the condition of the facility and the fact NO one else was even staying there besides the 2 men living in their vehicles in the parking lot. I am currently going through a fraudulent charge with management there because they tried charging my credit card after knowing my family didn’t even stay there. It is the absolute worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. Do not fall for the pictures they advertise. It looks nothing like it when you get there.
Our TV never worked. Paying as much as we did we expected clean towels and the room cleaned. Out garbage containers were full, the soap ran out on the second day since the bars are so tiny. The elderly gentleman was very kind in dealing with our issues and was very thoughtful. We did not get the room that we had reserved as noted by Expedia. The pillows were like bricks.
