Chalet in Ardennes with Sauna & Garden

Stay in this lovely south-facing chalet in the middle of the Belgian Ardennes. It is ideal for nature lovers and holidays with family and friends.

The chalet is located in Robertville (Waimes), in the heart of the Ardennes. Take a hike in the nearby forest or visit the lake of Robertville. The city centre is just 5 km from the house and 3 km further you will find some good restaurants and a supermarket for the daily necessities.

Prepare your favourite dishes in the well-equipped kitchen and enjoy your well-deserved holiday from the enclosed garden. Your four-legged friend is also welcome at an additional charge of 25 euros per stay! For the ultimate hedonist there is a sauna and for the children there is a recreation room with trampoline.

Public transport and tourist information can be found 8 km from the house.

Bij aankomst was het huis zeer proper. Elke slaapkamer heeft een eigen douche en lavabo dus dit is ideaal als je met een groep vrienden bent zodat je geen 1 of 2 badkamers met iedereen moet delen. Ook de gastheer was zeer vriendelijk en correct. Met andere woorden, dit is het ideale vakantiehuis als je met vrienden een gezellige vakantie wilt hebben in de Ardennen.

Bij aankomst was het chalet erg goed verzorgd, ook aan de buitenkant. De accommodatie was precies zoals online beschreven. Het was er erg schoon en rook fris. Later op de dag kwamen Sylvie en haar dochter om alles door te nemen en het net gestreken beddengoed te brengen, erg leuk en heel persoonlijk. De omgeving van het chalet is erg mooi, stil en heuvelachtig. Heerlijk als je jezelf terug wilt trekken in een mooie omgeving.

Leuke en gezellige chalet. Eigenaar was zo vriendelijk geweest om de chauffage reeds aan te zetten zodat het lekker warm was bij aankomst. Het in- en uitchecken verliep bijzonder vlot. Geen problemen met elektrische toestellen ondervonden.

Geweldig huis voor grotere gezelschappen, o.a. door de slaapkamers die alle voorzien zijn van een douche en een wastafel. Fijne zithoek en grote eettafel. Leuke speelruimte (binnen) voor kinderen. Het huis is voorzien van van alles. De sauna kwam niet lekker op temperatuur. Goed gelegen in een mooie omgeving. Aanrader!

Aankomst was prima, aardige eigenaren, goede uitleg. Prachtige omgeving met mooie wandelingen. Misschien een tip zorg voor sloten op de kamerdeuren. Met een douche in de slaapkamer is het wel handig als de deur op slot kan. Ook een slot op het toilet boven. Het huis is een prima accomodatie en mooi gelegen.

Aankomst was goed geregeld, even gebeld met eigenaar voor de sleutel voor we afkwamen en was geen probleem. Het bedlinnen was blijkbaar niet doorgekomen ondanks wij dit hadden aangeduid, dus dat ligt dan aan Belvilla. Was doorgegeven aan telefoon en werden later die avond nog geleverd zonder probleem. Huisje zelf was in orde, alles rijkelijk voorzien om te eten en drinken met 10 personen. Alleen in de zetels is het wat krap naar plaats als je er echt met 10 mensen bent, maar stoel erbij pakken en ook geen probleem. Douches waren goed en proper en voldoende warm water voor iedereen. Isolatie ( warmte en geluid ) was wel minder goed, je hoorde wel de auto's die buiten reden snachts vrij goed, alsook geluiden van andere mensen in het huis zijn overal goed hoorbaar. Dat was het enige minpuntje.

We konden vanaf 1600 het huisje in. Ontvangst was prima. Het huisje bevat alles wat je nodig hebt. Het is ongeveer 5 minuten rijden naar het centrum van Waimes (waar ook een supermarkt te vinden is). Uitstapjes in de buurt hoogvlakte, lac de Robertville en iets verder weg het circuit Francorchamps. Achteraf worden de kosten voor energie, gas en water berekend. Dit wordt verrekend met de borg.

We waren optijd bij het huisje, maar de schoonmaak was gelukkig net afgerond. Wel moest het bedlinnen nog gebracht worden, dat we er helaas dus ook zelf nog om moesten doen. Ook moest er nog een kleine reparatie worden uitgevoerd maar dat werd ook direct gedaan door de eigenaar. De standen werden nog even genoteerd en onze vakantie kon beginnen. De accommodatie was gewoon goed, en erg compleet. (oh ja er was 1 pan die echt aan vervanging toe was, deze was helemaal geroest). En je de omgeving daar is natuurlijk fantastisch !!! Er de moeite waard !! We gaan hier ook zeker nog eens terug komen.

De aankomst en ontvangst was prima. Het chalet zag er bij het aanrijden erg uitnodigend uit. En alhoewel wij eerder arriveerden dan de afgesproken tijd, was men niet lang na aankomst al aanwezig om ons te ontvangen en toegang te verschaffen tot het chalet. De directe omgeving van het chalet voelde voor ons nog warmer en meer besloten aan dan de foto's deden vermoeden en dat vond ik erg aangenaam. De indeling van het Chalet en het feit dat elke slaapkamer over een douche beschikte, was ook erg plezierig. Een gezellige zitkamer en een daarop aansluitende ruime en goed geoutilleerde keuken, waren erg fijn. En niet te vergeten de speelzolder voor de kids en de trampoline buiten. Kortom wij waren allemaal erg tevreden over dit Chalet, zijn directe omgeving alsook de verdere prachtige wandelomgeving.

met een vriendengroep een week in het huisje gezeten is niet de ideale locatie om te stappen maar hebben wel een geweldige week gehad. om leuke dingen te doen kan je het beste naar coo adventure gaan daar heb je veel outdoor dingen om te doen zeker een aanrader.

We hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad in dit huis. Het huis is prima en lekker ruim voor het aantal personen (9 volwassenen en 2 kinderen). De kwaliteit (ruimte/onderhoud etc) echter van de tuin hadden wij hoger ingeschat gezien de foto's. Daarnaast hebben wij een vervelende nasleep omtrent de borg. De eigenaar van het huis heeft na ruim 35 dagen nog steeds de borg niet teruggestort. Het vervelende is dat naar mijn idee Belvilla ook niet overtuigend handelt hierin. De overeenkomst is zeer duidelijk binnen 14 dagen na vertrek dient de borg terug te zijn gestort. Dat is dus niet het geval en ik krijg ook niet het gevoel dat Belvilla de huiseigenaar hierop aanpakt want zijn woning staat nog steeds met een zeer goede beoordeling op de site.
