Very nice grand hotel, all modern and renovated. Large rooms, comfortable air Climate, swimming pool, bar, restaurant, Meeting rooms etc. Perfect for Business travelers and tourists. Good WiFi. Very nice breakfast with lots of local produce

From the moment that you enter the hotel you feel welcome. The staff is very friendly and helpfull they are also able to answer every question you ask. Rooms are very clean with nice and comfortable beds. Sleep comfort of the highest level. Breakfast is a very large buffet with a cook that serves the food with a smile. he also provides you of ever info you need on the homegrown meat and cheese of texel. The hotel is also very easy to access for wheelchairs and is easy to travel to when you come to the island by ferryboat.

It was a very good hotel, nice and helpful personal. The room was very clean and good. The breakfast was good and had many options to choose from. The dinner menu was really good and the food was excellent cooked and served. Their pub was a really wonderful and relaxing area with open fire. I can really much recommend the hotel.

A hotel which changes the interior often: it seems like the 60 ties and that gives a good feeling. Rooms are ok, view on the dunes, the sea. Bathroom ok. Furniture like we have seen 50 years ago. Gives a special effect to the hotel and it fits. Great lobby, parking places plenty, nice people with a local accent. Gives you really the feeling being on a island.

Second time we have spent a family getaway here. Great location in the dunes and close to the beach. Rooms are nicely decorated, bright, modern and friendly. Generally rooms are clean - even though our shower and windows could have used some extra attention. Staff is friendly and helpful - very child friendly! Only ate breakfast at the hotel, but always thought this was very good and worth having. Would definitely recommend this hotel as we always enjoy our stays here - but do think management needs to stay on top of maintaining it in good order.

We stayed there for 3 nights in one of the biggest room. Our room was nice and well located so we can see the see between the dunes. The interior design is well done and sophisticated. But please the shower was so tiny it was hard to give a shower to our kids without spiling water everywhere. The hotel has a swimming pool (more for fun than for swim) but the sauna was KO (and it was also the case at the beg of the month in another comment) and the sauna is an option. There is a gym which is more a tiny space with 4 machines dated back the 80s and the floor is diles... There are different bars and restaurants which could be good if you find the waiter... We stayed seated for 20min before someone came. When he came back with our order 2 out of 4 where wrong. The restaurant is nice and pleasant. But again the service is really bad. 20min on average (we went there twice) to place an order (and you have to grab the waiter(ess) to make sure he comes to you, 20 to 30 min to be served and again some were wrong. The food is ok but is not worth the price. You have better in town. As he did a great job to cover for everyone mistake let me thank Kevin who tried his best on our of our diners to make it a bit better. Last but not least my bread was moldy during one of the 3 breakfast we had. Positive points: parking, very close to the beach, playroom for children, the breakfast is goo (overall). It's a nice hotel when you don't go into details. But when you pay such price you expect some really good.

We booked into Opduin for the weekend and it's really a super hotel. Parking for cars and bicycles right outside, very close to beach (our room nr 331 had a great view) and caters even for 4 legged felines. The breakfast buffets is worth it, and the Hotel is 2 blocks from a multitude of restaurants should you wish to eat out. Really a gem of a place indeed

We had a lovely weekend here with friends. Luckily the weather was also very good. The hotel is comfortable and well run. The best aspect was the restaurant - we had 2 breakfasts and dinners and all were excellent. There's good variety and quality. Service was friendly and extremely competent.

Clean, comfortable, and great Service. We rented bikes and travelled around the island with our son. Breakfast was delicious and ample. Dunes were wonderful, although water was still too cold to enjoy! Can't wait to come back!

We loved this hotel. The rooms are modern, clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We had a suite facing the dunes which which was quite spacious and a great value. The bathroom was also large and well done. My only complaint was the wall mounted hair dryer. We never closed the window coverings as the dunes changed with the light and were dramatically beautiful. I loved the color scheme - beach neutrals with a pop of turquoise. We never ate there, however the pool was great. Ask for a robe at the front desk. The hotel itself is in between the water and the town, so it is a short walk to each. Don't forget to rent bikes and ride up to the light house! I had trouble with the website and we had to call to make the reservation, but everyone was helpful in answering questions and making the reservation. Once we were there the free wifi worked great. I would absolutely stay here again.
