Our holiday in Casa do Batocal was truly excellent. Paula is the best host you could hope for and the welcome she gives is outstanding. The outside area is lovely and we spent most of our time there enjoying the pool, playing table tennis and cooking meals.Even without air conditioning, the inside of the house remained relatively cool throughout the day and was a pleasant temperature at night.

The most perfect place we've stayed!

From when we first arrived, Paula welcomed us into her home. The house is stunning; lots of period charm with traditional features. However, the best feature of this property is the outside living space. Pictures really do not do it justice. We spent most of our time in this area, cooking, eating and spending time together as a family. The pool area was lovely and very welcome in the Portugal sun. Paula's contact was prompt and when the boiler cut out, she responded straight away and it was fixed within a few hours. We dont make a habit of returning to the same place twice but we wouldn't hesitate returning to this gorgeous house. Thank you Paula for sharing your home with us, it was just perfect.

A quiet and hidden gem...

We (2 adults 1 kid 10 years) had the pleasure of spending 7 weeks in the lovely Casa do Batocal. On arrival we were greeted by the host Paula. Paula is a very attentive and caring host. All questions during our stay were answered promptly and Paula made sure we had a comfortable and pleasant stay. Casa do Batocal is a small authentic villa located on the edge of the village Fataunços, a quiet and peaceful place. The villa is an authentic country style house which is respectfully and gently restored. The villa is surrounded by a large and well-groomed garden, and you have a nice pool to enjoy privately. We spent most of our time by the pool or by the outdoor kitchen / terrasse where we cooked and enjoyed most of our meals. Casa do Batocal is a place to relax and enjoy time with your family. Our warmest thanks and recommendations to Caso do Batocal and Paula.

Ein traumhaftes Haus

Wir haben unser Urlaub im Casa do Batocal sehr genossen. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin Paula und Ines hat hervorragend geklappt. Sie haben uns sogar bei der Ankunft portugiesische Köstlichkeiten vorbereitet, wofür wir sehr dankbar waren. Der Pool ist riesig, ein Traum für unsere Kinder. Er wurde jede 2.Tag bereinigt, so dass wir immer einen sauberen Pool hatten. Jede Ecke vom Haus ist sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet und verfügt über alles was man braucht. Die beiden Küchen im Außen und innen sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Wohnbereich im Haus ist nicht so groß, wir haben ihn allerdings gar nicht benutz da wir immer im Garten waren, was sehr schön und groß war. Supermärkte sind in 10 min mit Auto erreichbar, und es gibt viele kleine aber feine Dörfer in der Nähe. Wir konnten in unserem Urlaub Entspannung, Strand und Stadtbesuch (Porto, Aveiro, Viseu) sehr gut kombinieren und die Kinder waren auch sehr glücklich. Vielen Dank nochmal an Paula und Ines, wir kommen definitiv wieder 😊

Férias magníficas

A nossa estadia na casa do Batocal foi excelente. Tudo estava de acordo com o anúncio, fomos recebidos com muita simpatia e iguarias locais. O espaço exterior é ótimo e foi onde passamos a maior parte do tempo, usámos o forno a lenha, o barbeque e usufruímos da ótima piscina. Uns dias bem passados, recomendamos!!

Ótima estadia

A zona exterior é ótima para quem adora o ar livre, assim como a área da piscina. A casa é rústica, mas confortável. Situado numa zona boa, de carro é possível ir a vários sítios interessantes na área.
