We travelled with our family of 4 and our dog! They accommodate for pets and check in the lady provided us an extra large room. Breakfast is basic but ok. Kids had their separate too next to us and enjoyed the free wifi. Large bathroom with all amenities. Highly recommend staying there!
The rooms are very large especially the main bathroom (washbasin and shower). The only stupid thing is that in the smaller bathroom only a toilett and no washbasin exist. Also only french and belgium TV channels are available. The staw was very polite and everything was clean.
First be careful, this hotel does not have a restaurant, which could be annoying. You can ask for quick food, which you get only if you go to the reception : no room service. The rooms are very nice and big, very clean and it is very quite. The bathroom is very big.
The hotel is located in the ancient casino, quite centrally located. It has an own carpark, but free parking is available on the streets in front and near the hotel. Staff was very friendly, there is no restaurant, they only serve breakfast and you can order some (precooked) dishes for about 10€ which you can take either in the hotel bar or in your room. Now, the rooms are very spacious and decorated in a modern style. Bed very comfortable, wifi working well and there is also an empty fridge in your room. Breakfast was also ok, I would sure come back if I am in the area.
Stayed 1 night here, room is nice and quite big (privilège room) on the 3rd floor looking the back of the hotel so quiet as asked. No bath in a very large bathroom, why? Front desk staff is just ok. And when you pay 120 Euros a night, you can expect more. The hotel entrance is not nice at all, because it's on the 1st floor of the same building of the Vittel Casino. You want to park your car, so you may find a free parking space in the street but no way to stop in front of the hotel, very ridiculous. And what about their "private" parking, supposed to be safe and closed. It's a joke! No direct access or connection with the hotel building. This place sucks and we'll never come back again. Vittel is not nice at all. Only 2 restaurants open during a weekday.
We arrived without a reservation and got the last room - one of the bigger, more expensive ones. The room was definitely big, with also a lobby area and separate toilet and separate bathroom. Bizarrely, though, the (very warm )bathroom was easily big enough to fit a bath, but didn't have one; there was just a shower, plus a lot of empty space. The huge bed was extremely comfortable - the most comfortable I've slept in in a long time. We also had a sofa and armchair. The room was at the front, but no street noise bothered us. Staff were friendly. Breakfast is overpriced. Prices are not all clearly displayed in the hotel or in the in-room information booklet. All in all - a good room, but a bit overpriced.
the hotel have a correct balance between price and advantages. Good breakfast and good parking place. The service it's everytime at the level of the expectations. It will be a place for my next business travel
We chose this hotel for a stopover on the drive back from South France to Germany. We were very pleasantly surprised. Prior to arrival, the very friendly staff - with no hesitation - agreed to changing our reservation date, although it was a non-changeable, non-refundable Expedia rate (and they had refused to help). The hotel itself is a huge building next to the Casino in Vittel, a place which is known for the like-named mineral water, and has the charme of having seen much better days which are still in the air. The room was spacious, the interior modern and pleasant, there was a huge bathroom and separate restroom, and the hotel had accommodated our wish for a quiet room (ours even overlooked the beautiful park next to the Casino). We didn't try the breakfast, but at €74, this was clearly a bargain and we will be back. While you're there, try the restaurant L'Appart, and thank me later.
We booked this hotel for an overnight stop driving from the South of France to Calais. We were amazed at how lovely the room was. It was very modern and bright. The bed was huge! The shower was huge! The only part that we did find a slight disappointment was the breakfast. We were fairly early and found that the sausages, bacon and scrambled egg had almost all gone. We asked for more scrambled egg which arrived eventually but the bacon and sausages did not get replenished even though it was nowhere near the end of the breakfast time.
On the long road from the south of France to Amsterdam we chanced on this hotel with minimum research. Reception is first floor of what looks like an office block. Don't be put off. Our room was huge, newly fitted out, spotlessly clean. There was a large lobby for baggage, a large shower room and separate toilet. It faced out back so there was no noise but I suspect Vittel is normally quiet at night. The bed was vast and the bedding crisp, fresh and white. All is simple, not grand. In addition after hours driving we walked in the park to the rear of the hotel where the waters and historical spa are, round a horse racing track watching the Trotting racing, and th,en there are two golf courses and a horse cross country track. All immaculate. There are beautiful botanical gardens and in a pavilion, children were participating in a traditional dancing completion. We had a really interesting walk in this delightful spa town and won't hesitate to return. Couldn't have planned things better. It is only about 15 minutes from the motorway. We skipped breakfast due to an early start.
