The hotel is centrally located. I had a room facing the road, but it was quiet. The room was basic but decent size and nice and clean with a comfortable bed giving a good nights sleep and that is most important.
Poor reception (apart from one staff member). Poor (superior) room standard. Had to change the electronic key FIVE times. Tiny sauna and hammam only accessible at 15 euros per person. Paking fee €12.50) to a barely accessible parking area. Reasonable quality breakfast. Disastrous New Year's Eve dinner
We went there for one night. We arrived too late for the Spa, so we can't say anything about it. Our room was like a mini apartment with 2 bedrooms, one for the parent, one for the kids. It was clean. Obviously, the hotel has been renovated a while ago, but it is spacious and comfortable. The staff, at reception, was very helpful. she has given us some tips, where to eat and her recommendations were excellent. The Buffet for breakfast had everything you wish for, they just need to make that there is enough water for tea. The good thing is that they have a car park, so you can leave your car for a few extra euros. Next year, we'll have to go back to Epinal for a weekend. This hotel will be on the shortlist. Would I recommend it, yes if you are looking for a fair value.
I stay here for business and have never faulted my stay. Always happy and friendly staff, and the location is great for Epinal. Breakfast can be improved, however if like me you only drink coffee in the mornings then you are more than catered for.
Friendly staff, clean and nicely decorated place. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Restaurant is located in separate building, but there is connection between both buildings, so no need to go outside - this is particularly important in the winter. Food was OK-ish it is better to skip Duck Burger.
rooms are small but clean, I recomend rooms with a river view, is it quieter. personal is helpful and friendly. breakfest was delicius, but rather go to dinner elsewhere. and park carfoully, parking is tight :-D
The hotel is nice and central to the town with plenty of restaurants within 10 mins walk. The rooms are nice and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. It's a shame the hotel doesn't have a proper bar and decent restaurant. We go out for drinks and food.
Was staying one night in this hotel, during business trip. Rooms are old and very small. Rooms at street side are very noisy ..... lot of traffic. Toilet and bathroom basic.Breakfast in the morning was very good.
Easy to find by car and secure private parking. We had an excellent Superior Room which was very well equipped and spacious. Reception staff very helpful. We visited on a Sunday night and it would have been good to know from the website that the hotel restaurant is closed on Sundays. There are many restaurants within walking distance but as is common in France most were shut on a Sunday evening, (We had arrived from 2 weeks in Italy and ended up in a Pizza restaurant!) Didn't get to try the pool / sauna as we were on an overnight stop back to the ferry ports. However we did have an excellent breakfast in our room - lots of fresh bread, croissants etc - and no extra charge for room service. We would certainly consider another visit but on a weekday - Epinal looks like a nice town - it would be good to see it when it is open!
Lived 4 Nights without any A/C. I will never stay again. Restaurant was also serving the same food again and again. It was a painful experience and finally fall sick. If the A/C is not working in Summer, please shutdown the facility.
