The room is a cozy studio attached to the home with its own private coded entrance. It has a King Size bed, Bathroom,
Microwave,Toaster, Coffee maker and refrigerator. It also includes cable TV and WiFi for your convenience. There is no stove or oven

There is a two acre, private tropical garden with two teahouses, one overlooking a Koi Pond for your enjoyment. We are one mile from the Volcano National Park.

The unit is only for adults age 25 and up.
No smoking . $250.00 fee if smoking has occurred
No drugs of any kind. Doing so will result in vacate order and police called .
Do not bring outside guests onto property or into unit without prior permission
The carport is for your use during your stay. Please be aware of backing out from carport.

Jim is a quick and responsive host. Dropping a pin to us to navigate was quite helpful with spotty internet availability. The studio is a unique and charming space in an unbelievably gorgeous location! The 2 acre rainforest flower gardens have been curated and loved over several decades - what a treasure to share! We will remember this visit forever. Thank you!

Great location tucked away in the jungle, perfect for exploring Hawaii volcanoes national Park. It was safe and secure, and the bed was very comfortable. The electric blankets were a nice touch as it gets quite chilly on the volcano at night. However, it is quite expensive for what you get, especially considering you can stay at the beautiful hotel in the park for not much more. I would have given them 4 stars, however after we left we were charged for a towel that was apparently stained and when I asked for a photo for reference, I did not receive one (I also did not receive a response when I asked, although the owner stated that there was a photograph for reference) and my credit card was charged another 15.

This was a beautiful experience. The room and amenities were perfect. The garden was magnificent. The word garden does not adequately describe this beautiful, extensive, floral, exotic experience. Being this close to the National Volcano Park was such a bonus.

It was a one night stay and a last minute booking. For the price, probably a bit high. Proximity to the park is awesome and the carport provided is great. Getting here was a little confusing but instructions provided helped. The garden on the property is so nice to walk around in.The room itself was fine. The best part was the heating pad on the bed was awesome. However the comforter and shams could use a refresh with a quick wash. Had a bit of an odor that was off putting. Also could use deep clean to remove dust.

We had a very pleasant two-night stay. Great location for Volcano National Park. Room was a nice size and clean with a well-stocked kitchenette. The location was beautiful easy to access the instructions. While unique we’re fairly accurate and easy to follow. This property was definitely a place where you can go disconnect and unwind. I would exercise caution in booking your rental vehicle as there are limitations to the size of rental vehicle that will fit in the carport of the property.

It’s about 3 miles from the park. It’s about one mile of unpaved road to the house and it’s tricky to find at night. There are food, market, and gas options super nearby. It’s beautiful and quiet amd the perfect retreat to end a very active day

The accommodations are fine. A small place with a comfortable large bed. Mini-kitchen was fine for simple uncooked fare. What makes this vrbo exceptional are the surrounding wonderful, beautiful garden and walking paths. Perfect for nature lovers. We also walked the adjacent paved road/streets and found endemic Hawaiian birds like the ‘Apapane and Hawaiian Hawk.Thank you to our host!ps, some nice food options nearby in Volcano, the bar/pizza place (Lanikai), small market, and excellent Thai place. Perfect location for 2 people visiting Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Staying this close made it easy to get to the park to see the latest eruption. The garden on site is beautiful. Some other reviews complained about not having hot water, the host clearly states it takes a while, so just give it time. And yes we saw a spider, took two seconds to remedy that. It's in the middle of a rainforest which is beautiful, but if you want to be in nature, you might just see nature. So don't let those reviews scare you off. We will definitely be recommending this place to friends and hope to stay again the next time we visit the park.
