We waren in 2019 enthousiast over ons verblijf in De oude limonadefabriek. Vandaar dat we het huis met zijn comfort en charme in een mooie omgeving reeds kenden. De streek is prachtig, veel wandel en fietsmogelijkheden. Wie van cultuur en gezellige dorpjes of steden houdt kan alle richtingen uit. Het is gezellig zitten op het terras. Het hindert niet dat er geen tuin aanwezig is.Op wandelafstand vind je de Commanderie 7 (forelkwekerij) en De Cantarel voor wie de voeten onder tafel wil steken. Met de eigenaar kan men, vlot contact nemen, hij is flexibel en luisterbereid (omwille van corona dit jaar via mail/telefoon, vorig jaar persoonlijk). Reeds geboekt voor 2021!

Gezellig huisje, keuken goed voorzien van alle gerief. Keukenkasten mogen eens opgeruimd worden staan ingredienten in wat wij niet zouden gebruiken omdat het al geopend was, zeker niet in corona tijden. De toilet brillen zijn wel aan vervanging toe, toiletbril beneden was met tape gerepareerd. Boven lag deze los. Grote slaapkamer had een matras met topper, mag ook in de andere slaapkamer geplaatst worden, redelijk harde matras daar. In de badkamer is een opstapje dat mag gemarkeerd worden. Wasmaschiene en droger is een pluspunt. De buurt is rustig en mooi om te wandelen. Fam. Debie-Cerpentier Retie en Geel

Wat hebben we een heerlijke week gehad. In het huis (en met name in de zeer uitgebreide keuken) is werkelijk aan alles gedacht, en de omgeving is prachtig. Direct vanuit het huis kun je verschillende wandelroutes en MTB routes volgen en met de auto zijn alle omliggende dorpjes en stadjes in de Voerstreek makkelijk bereikbaar. We komen graag nog eens terug.

Herman heeft ons ontvangen,uit de reacties op deze woning hadden we voor 2 weken deze woning gekozen en ik sluit me bij de reacties aan,wat een prachtige woning ,wij voelden ons de koning te rijk ,ik vond het moeilijk om naar huis te gaan en heb om wat terug te doen voor herman de bloemen en planten bewaterd, want het is hartstikke warm geweest,en ook een beetje onkruid verwijderd,als dank voor dit mooie vakantieadres, een ding is zeker ,we gaan daar zeker en vast nog een keer terug. henk,martha en stephan van hal.

Bij aankomst welkom geheten door de buitengewoon gastvrije eigenaar, Herman van Dam, die ons e.e.a. uitlegde. Suggestie leg een A4 'tje neer met gegevens zoals vuilnis scheiden, afhaaldagen, en data zoals dokters tel.nr. etc. Het huis zéér geschikt voor vier personen, lekker ruim, leuke combinatie tussen rustiek en comfort. Schit-te-ren-de omgeving! Zelf is Veurs een rustig dorpje met wandelgelegenheden, maar tegelijkertijd een prima uitvalsbasis je zit in een paar minuten in Aubel (Franstalig, voor Pâtisserie Jeanpierre en de Marché Artisanale op zondag ochtend), Eupen (Duitstalig) of Sint Pieters Voeren (Nederlandstalig, voor gebakken forel eten in de Commanderie -het kasteelterrein- tussen de middag) en/of in Slenaken, Noorbeek, Maastricht of Aken. Wat een mooie natuur en wat een rust! Dat wie hier is geweest, er graag weer terugkomt, geloven wij graag want wij zijn dezelfde mening toegedaan!
