Clean unit at Kamla
This was our first time at VA Beach so we didn’t know what to expect but the unit is located ocean front (& boardwalk front) the balcony is nice to people watch because there are a lot of people but that seems to be just about everywhere there. This unit is at 21st street which conveniently turns into interstate 264. There are many nice places to eat within walking distance which was also nice because the parking area at this unit is very tight to maneuver vehicles. This is why they ask the make/year of the vehicle, our standard size truck was a little over the size capacity (210inches) but we were fortunate they reorganized the parking arrangements to accommodate us. The unit itself was very clean and updated, beds were comfy, dishwasher and washer/dryer are provided. But make sure to take all the supplies-we were lucky they left 3/4 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom-and no hand soap, the listing warns to bring towels and bed sheets/pillow cases and I recommend an extra blanket (if needed) However the master bedroom is on the street side and the evening sun heats up that room so we didn’t even use blankets at night, also may want an extra fan for 2nd bedroom, they provided one in the master bedroom. I ranked overall at a 4 due to the bathrooms/showers not updated and the water pressure and temperature regulation was horrible and I just left the lid off of the toilet tank all week because every use required the chain to be moved. Cindy at the office was helpful. Pleased.
