I had lovely large room on the top floor. Air con did not work. Kettle to make a drink. No free water in the room. Hotel info states only 500 m from old town. Twice that is the true! Most disappointing was breakfast with limited choice and the cooked food was cold
For the amount we paid (£134) for 2 of us for 3 nights, I think it was very reasonable. Vilnius City Hotel was situated about 20 minute walk from the old town. Alternatively you can get a trolley bus 17 from just outside the hotel to the centre. Quick prompt check in and our room was clean and tidy (if a little old fashioned). Breakfast options were mostly continental but very adequate - you just help yourself. Staff pleasant although maybe check in/reception staff could be a little more proactive in providing advise e.g. bus routes. Check out very quick although I did notice we were not asked if we were satisfied with our stay. Basic but very satisfactory if you don't mind being a short walk from the centre of town and want to visit this lovely city on a budget.
It is quite far from city center.General and room cleaning is pretty good. The staff are very young and inexperienced. The breakfast is not too bad.The bathroom ventilation is not very effective.Bathroom is small.
Rooms are big compared to other European countries. Scenary in the room makes it different. Moreover it's very cheap. We paid 259 Euro for 6 nights. That's awesome. Breakfast selection was good. Cons is that there are almost no body in hotel except receptionist. No room service. No luggage tender. Only self service. It's not unusual as u can see the same culture in all Europe.
We stayed here as a group of 8 in February. We couldn’t fault the hotel to be honest! The rooms were basic but more than adequate, the breakfast had hot and cold options and the whole place was spotless. For the cost, you simply cannot grumble at all. Location wise, the hotel is literally a 5 minute walk into the old town, where you will find many bars and restaurants. The staff speak perfect English, and can be contacted beforehand with any requests via email. All in all, if you are looking for a cheap, but comfortable and clean hotel to stay in, look no further – a great stay!
When I booked I specifically asked for one of the more modern rooms as I saw that they have two very different sets of photos on websites. I asked for a modern room but I got a room that was very tired and dated. The staff are friendly. Breakfasts here are OK. The hotel itself is not that close to town - about a 20 minute walk.
Very nice hotel with great location - there are just around 15 minutes to get into the old town and the center. The room was big and clean. Breakfast should be more diversified but it was still pretty good.
A budget hotel, yes, but clean rooms, included all you can eat breakfast and 60mbps free WiFi. I booked a single room but was given a triple, so loads of space. On the major bus route between the airport and the city. The reception staff all speak fluent English. I paid 30 Euros a night and was very happy with my 4 night stay.
The hotel is good, clean and comfortable but you have to walk a lot to get to the center and old town! The staff was very helpfull and let us keep our bags from check out time (11h/12h a.m) to 8p.m The bus station is 15minute walk away Old town 30minute walk Center 30minute walk
Stayed here for one night in between a trip to the countryside and our flight. Nice little room, comfy beds. However no air conditioning and towels not soft. Noisy outside the window but needed it open due to no air con. We were flying late so needed to keep the room as long as possible, late checkout at no cost until 2pm is good. No drinking water in the rooms but there is water available to buy in reception.
