It was my 4th time (since 2014) in this great resort and first time during summer. It was amazing to enjoy lake and ''Bora-Bora restaurant''. All the hotel amenities is perfect for relaxing spa-weekend. To say more- this resort could be even located in Turkey as high level resort- so wonderful it is. Wishing you all the best and looking to see you next time after spa reconstruction
I love this hotel because it's located near lake and forrest . It was fantastic atmosphere, on 2nd floor we saw honoured guests of the hotel and staff is respect LGBTQI people, so my comfort is provided.
Spa is closed and we were not informed in advance before selection. Staff did not mention I can park underground although parking was empty under my building. Breakfast is poor. When I asked new corn flakes which were finished; no one brought it. Lake is very dirty. Revolver door is turning very fast; for small children is not safe. In loft rooms, there is a hole near stair where it is connecting second floor slab. Not safe for small children. Balconies’ roof are not cleaned; there are insects and spiders are hanging down. There are no balls on basketball court, and there is no lining for basketball. It is not comfortable to look for balls and play basketball.
As I’m typing this, at 1:30 in the morning, the melodious bass-heavy beat of Despacito is rocking my hotel room. No, it’s not me playing it. It’s the party in the next wing of the hotel that has the doors wide open. I’ve called down ... nothing is happening. Last night it was a wedding in Bora bora on the lake that went until 4 am. By day, this is a nice resort. Far from Vilnius with an awkwardly timed shuttle, but it’s got lovely grounds, a pretty lake, and it’s 30 minutes by taxi to old town. The remodeled areas are nice and my room had gorgeous high ceilings and beautiful windows looking out onto the lake. The bathroom is lovely and quite large. Sure, the hallways are on the older side, but it’s a clean property. It’s under renovation, though, and my colleagues got stuck in old rooms with no air conditioning and a less than ideal decor. The food for our conference was delicious (Really beyond what I expected) and the kitchen will cook you food to order if you want. The staff are friendly and clearly take pride in their jobs. But then the sun goes down (okay, not in June, it’s light all night) and the nightmare starts. Vilnius Grand Resort ... grand only if you plan on never sleeping.
The room was very big with comfortable bed and beautiful view of the lake. The staff was polite and helpful and the food was excellent at breakfast and dinner time. My only criticism would be the distance from the city centre. But overall we enjoyed very much staying in this hotel.
20 minutes from the capital, this resort has an incredible offering of a first class golf course, water park and the Bora Bora restaurant on the lake. The staff are very courteous and the rooms are large, modern and comfortable with views of the lakes. So much, to do with major upgrades underway. It was 30 celsius last week and being able to sit on the water in the Bora Bora restaurant with a gin & tonic was fantastic. Bring the whole family if you're in the Baltics!
A very nice place in which you feel at home because the staff is very friendly and gentle. Nice lake view, beautiful SPA (closed for now beacuse they are making a bigger one), good opportunity to relax and live the nature but also to enjoy the beauty of the sparkling Vilnius, since there is a free transfer organized by the hotel every day in different hours.
Great hotel. The staff is very helpful. the landscape is breathtaking. The room was very clean ad quiet and providing a good sleeping atmosphere. the restaurants around the hotel are really great, with a good food and beverages offer. Overall a great trip.
We stayed at this beautiful resort for our anniversary and it exceeded everything we wanted, a room with a view the best bed to sleep on friendly staff and AMAZING FOOD. We had a wonderful waiter and bar server Ramunas who went above and beyond, we loved him, a good representative to the resort. We will be back for sure. :)
Nice place but far away from city center!! More bus routes required. At least a bus should depart from city center about 22.30 or later on in order someone to have a chance to see the medieval town of Vilnius at night.
- Free WiFi in rooms and public areas
