Lovely site. Elegant decor. Rooms are simple, very comfortable and spacious. Soundproofing could be improved between rooms. Hallway quite echo-y. Service friendly and prompt. Very nice and complete breakfast.

Beautiful hotel near Casa Mateus with amazing view

This is a beautiful hotel based on an old Quinta with spectacular views to hills and mountains. It’s a five minutes drive to Casa Mateus. Our room was completely new with large windows looking out over vineyards. The pool is a good size and we loved having dinner on the terrace in the evening. A real treat!

Beautiful hotel with fab views and comfortable rooms. We went for a wedding which was presented amazingly. Functions seem to held frequently. Restaurant menu limited. You need a car to enjoy the area.

Good value for the area. We went in October and it was pretty empty, but the property was nice. Rooms are a little dated, but had everything we needed. It appears they don't open the restaurant when there's not enough guests staying at the property, but there are plenty of places nearby to get dinner.

The whole hotel is extreem noisy, you hear really everything. Our room: Airco not working, hair dryer which burns your hand but does not blow. WiFi terrible bad signal. Made our discomfort at the reception, sorry was al, no little compensation in any form nothing. They even did not write down the problems with our room. If you have the possibility skip this hotel.
