Four giant master suites, a private pool, two kitchens, and a roof top deck. Air conditioning in the bedrooms (only) was super cold. Very comfortable beds and remote entry gates were a plus. Down sides to the area is that their were no good restaurants near by and you couldn’t by a decent cut of meat at the grocery store. Fortunately the in house cook did an excellent job cooking meals and cleaning the kitchen which we loved! A rental car is a must!!!! Don’t miss Laborie (30 min drive) and Sugar Beach (45 ish). They were the best!
My wife and I spent a two-week vacation in St. Lucia. Seven of those days we stayed at Castles In Paradise. We had a very nice apartment with a spacious bedroom, a large living room with a kitchen, and a nice bathroom. The hotel pool was large, clean, and pleasant. The view from our porch was magnificent: Green mountains leading down to the Atlantic Ocean. The staff is friendly, and if you need a place to stay near Vieux Fort, this is great choice.
It would take me several pages to write what I really want to say about this magnificent location Castles in Paradise in St Lucia. We love to travel and often times don’t want the run of the mill places we want different and unique. We were celebrating our 20 year anniversary and wanted to renew our vows and as soon as I called the owner she and her staff were fast at work to make this happen(2 weeks before our trip). I had no idea what this renewal would look like and it exceeded every expectation I had from the wedding planner Marcus to the photographer Ustace. So backing up to speak of the property it is serene, beautiful and unique. The view is breathtaking! I would recommend a few things that made our trip most pleasant and that is Patrick he is a taxi driver that took us anywhere we wanted for a reasonable fee. He was amazing to say the least and he usually picks up castle of paradise guests at airport. We did not want to rent a car because of the winding roads and I think they said most cars were stick shift. Patrick was at our door when we set a time and we could call anytime. One thing I loved about our trip is that we were able visit several High end resorts to utilize their property and eat at their restaurants which was amazing to see other places, Sugar Beach was breath taking. Our driver waited for us and it made the experience so nice and Yes it was affordable. He even brought us fresh Mangos one morning. We were so pleased with this mans work ethic and his being on time exactly what we planned on. I’m sure they have his card if any guests would like his number. Everyone we met on St Lucia was extremely friendly! Back to the renewal, Wow is all I have to say from the most gorgeous bouquet to the flower arrangements that they put on pedestals and the most amazing lady who did our ceremony. These were my kind of people, going above and beyond and I can’t forget the Owner Mrs Bonnie who made sure all of this took place and Ruphena the office manager, she was most amazing. We had about 10 different locations to take the most breathtaking photos. We were originally married in Hawaii and this property reminds me of the Hawaii of the Carribean so plush and beautiful. I received my jump Drive with over 100 photos and they are all amazing from pics by the sea, the gazebo, coconut trees, private pool to the most gorgeous bougainvillea. As you can tell I was impressed and we had the villa front and center so we were literally steps from our ceremony. The final day we enjoyed fresh coconut before our flight. I can’t say enough good things about our visit we are definitely rejuvenated from our busy lives and I would stay at this location again. Castles in Paradise was a Unique slice of heaven! The personal touch from the owner to the staff made us feel like family.
Keeping the reason for my early departure aside: This is more like “Canines in Paradise” with dogs barking all night. There is nothing or anywhere to eat in the area. We where offered if we wanted to; $40. Per person, per meal per day, if we wanted someone to cook for us because there isn’t anything to eat or restaurants within the area. We had to pull over on the side of the road and eat from “The Reef”, which is a hut off the beach, thankfully. If you go shopping, beware bring your own bag. Just a few things everyone should be aware of when visiting St. Lucia. But Paradise, THIS PLACE IS NOT. Thanks for your un-honest and insencere help “Mrs. Zephirin” As your Assistant requested, my daughter, thankfully, is doing well.
We stayed here for 4 nights and everything was perfect. It's a short 10 minute drive from the international airport and very easy to find, we got directions from someone at the airport. If you stay here you'll probably want to hire a car because it's away from all the main tourist attractions (a huge bonus) and there isn't any restaurants within walking distance. The apartment was fantastic, spotlessly clean and every amenity you would need over your stay. We didn't use to AC once because being on top of a hill, it was lovely and cool. Gorgeous views and gardens all around, pool area was lovely also. Check in was very easy and all the staff we came across were very polite and helpful. Being away from all the touristy areas was perfect for us, we found the nicest beach about a 10 minute drive away called Laborie and drove all over the island using Castles in Paradise as our base- we were always excited to return back their after a busy days exploring.
We stayed here one night prior to flying out. Bonnie and her staff are so hospitable it felt like an extended family. She drove us around to see the town and dropped us at The Reef for dinner. She knows the staff at the Reef and they welcomed us along with their fun group of pet dogs. She also arranged a taxi to bring us back and to the airport the next day. We were in awesome Villa 6 directly across from the pool. The view is to die for. Security makes sure you get to your villa at night and the owner is on site. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
I have been so pleased with my stay here and would highly recommend it. There is a beautiful view of the bay. It is extremely quiet and secure with night security. The unit was very clean and well kept. The welcoming staff made it an exceptional stay.
The villa we stayed in is called castilla Bella and had a beautiful view. The staff here are very friendly, and will sort anything for you .the villa sleeps six with air conditioned bedrooms ,its own pool for dipping and cooling off and on site is a larger pool as well.
Absolutely idyllic, beautiful setting overlooking Savannes Bay, conducive to total relaxation. Stunning sunsets viewed from the roof terrace of villa 5, fabulous swimming pool surrounded by exquisite gardens , truly paradise. Castles in Paradise is located only 10 minutes drive from the airport ideal location post long haul flight. Situated in the south of the island Castles in Paradise provides a tranquil location with the stunning Sandy Beach and Reef Beach Bar only 15 minutes drive away. Castles is ideally situated to tour the island with the iconic Pitons and Sulphur Springs at Soufriere only an hour away. Villa 5 provided a wonderful peaceful residence with spacious living areas and sun terrace over looking the pool. The villa was very clean and had a great Caribbean vibe with stunning rattan furnishings and vibrant coloured accessories all high quality. The villa and grounds are maintained to a very high standard by Bonnie and her team who are most professional and attentive. Castles in Paradise provides a most wonderful setting to unwind and enjoy St Lucia , thank you Bonnie for a most wonderful experience and memories to be cherished.
My family and I spent a week at Castles in Paradise in March in Villa #7. There is really not enough room to gush about this place. The villa was beautiful and perfect for our family. Stocked with everything you need in a kitchen, including a cooler which came in handy for day trips. The private pool was wonderful. Management was helpful and the housekeeper even brought us fresh coconuts that the groundskeeper had picked that morning from the property. Things to note, there is next to no tourism in this area of the island and there is no food in the villa. That said there is a grocery store about 10 minutes drive west of the property where they carry a wide variety of local food and some 'Canadian/american' variety such as bacon and cold milk too. You're sure to get an authentic St.Lucian experience which was surprisingly pleasant...and not because I had low expectations but because the people blew my expectations out of the water. Can't wait to go back!
