This is a very clean, basic inn. We found it to be perfect for our one night stay near the main St. Lucia airport. It's located in a residential neighbourhood, 5 minutes taxi from the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Pros: very clean room. Very small (most basic room) but that’s all we needed for one night. Working mini fridge. Receptionist stayed a bit late since our flight got in at about 10:30pm. Very close to airport. Booked a taxi in advance and paid about 10 usd each way to and from the airport. Cons: extremely noisy. Loud music playing till almost 2am. Lukewarm water at best. Says 24hr security but I’m pretty sure that just meant they had security cameras going 24hrs. I wouldn’t not have felt comfortable staying here if I had my kid with me. Bed wasn’t very comfortable either.
Location: near the airport and paid US$15 for taxi. Staying there for a transit to Martinique after arriving the airport near midnight Service: friendly check-in staff and maid Room: tiny and primitive Breakfast: decent (see photo)
We stayed for a night as the hotel is near the airport and we didn't want to drive unknown roads at night. Reception was welcoming and the room comfortable. We booked a deluxe sea view room but the sea is a very long way off and i wouldn't rate the room as Deluxe. However the price seemed reasonable for what we got. There is a shared balcony but we had it to ourselves that evening. We didn't have breakfast and the restaurant is closed for other meals at present (Sept 18). Aupic Paradise was great for a night but I don't think I would spend longer there.
Aupic paradise was semi-nice, very strange. We were told upon arrival that there was a restaurant for dinner, which was awesome so we didn’t have to leave. We went down later that day, they seemed very confused that we were wanting to eat and it was just very awkward. Us and one guy just sitting in the room together. Food was good though. There was free WiFi and cable, which was great as well. Room was small, but fine for our one night only. People were very nice, they don’t accept cards at the restaurant either. Restaurant was also expensive, $40 for us which is over half of what the room costs... All in all it was fine for only one night as long as you don’t leave, considering there is nothing around it to go to.
We stayed here the first night that we arrived in St Lucia. It is certainly a convenient place to begin or end your trip to St Lucia. It was a fairly basic accommodation, at a reasonable price. It was kept clean and the staff were pleasant. We had what was called a deluxe room with a sea view. However, the balcony is shared and the sea could only be seen far in the distance. The view directly in front of our hotel was not that inspiring. The TV was on the wall in the corner and quite small, so not that easy to watch. There was a decent sized fridge, a microwave and a kettle and a small table, so you could eat there if you decided to buy your own food. The bathroom was large and clean. We paid for the breakfast, which was okay. So, in summary, it's a very reasonably priced place (which is not that easy to find on St Lucia), that is worth considering, if you're looking for something near to the airport at a low cost.
After spending 7 nights at a Sandals resort our flight had been delayed by 22 hours and we were looking for a hotel close to the airport. We did not want another taxi ride 1 1/2 hour one way from the airport. This hotel ended up being a great place! There were 4 couples. The rooms were clean. The staff could not have been nicer. They cooked dinner and breakfast for us. Arranged for transportation back to the airport. Great find!
The staff were very welcoming and helpful but the room was not as I had expected. I'd got it in writing that I'd booked a superior room with balcony. I did query this after check in when I discovered that the room allocated had no direct access on to a balcony. I was told that the balcony was for the guests to share, so that meant we had to come out of our room, down a corridor and then out to the balcony. Fortunately the place was not full as there was only one table and 2 chairs outside 2 other rooms, otherwise there would have been insufficient balcony furniture. The place was clean, and convenient to the airport. We had hired a car and there was plenty of space to park. There's plenty of unsecured wifi access in the room but secure wifi is only available in the downstairs office.
We stayed in the two bedroom suite for one night, it was clean , spacious and very comfortable, but most it was convenient and close to airport... The staff was pleasant and helpful...Will definitely stay here again...
Not one to write up reviews on websites, I felt it necessary to do so in this case. My husband and I stayed at Aubic Paradise last January. The staff is great: polite, helpful, discreet and kind. They made us feel extremely welcome. The big rooms are very nice with a lovely balcony. Clean, not too expensive, not far away from the airport. I thank the staff from Aubic for making our stay as confortable and lovely as they possibly could.
