Wish I could leave 0 stars, but here we go.To summarize, upon reserving, the host sent long list of penalties for damages, and the provided false entry codes. After finally getting into the property after trying for an hour, we immediately noticed dirt and damages, particularly damages that were listed for uncurring penalties. When we reported them to avoid being charged the long list of penalties provided earlier, host insinuated that we caused them and reported with delay. This property reaked of smoke, and had burn marks all over the appartment. Pet hair on beds. Dirt, dust and cob webs in every room. Furniture broken and damaged, from a sofa with broken legs and a broken off toilet seat which left both items unsafe to sit on to furniture with missing bottom drawers and broken lamps.We'd have left immediately if we would not have arrived so late in the day, which left us without alternatives. We left first thing in the morning, and filed claim with VRBO. Host is not communicating to date and we're still waiting on refund.This property is unsafe and unsanitary and should not be rented out as is.
