It was nearly 10 years since my previous stay at this hotel, and today I have been slightly disappointed. Room, bathroom & property as well as breakfast are OK, not too much to complain there: I have just been surprised that the luggage has to be put on the floor, the small piece of metal furniture found in many hotels is no longer there. A few problems also, which I have reported would benefit from improvement: - Outside temperature was unusually high for the season, and inside the room it was very warm, air condition was already off, windows can't open much -- too noisy anyway outside: I had a hard time finding sleep because of this (24-25°C in room). - No available power socket on bed side, needed to unplug the lamp to get a power socket. - And probably worse of all: Internet access (yes the "premium" option) is a bad joke: terribly slow, unusable for regular business. It's up to standards that were available 10-15 years ago.
We specifically chose this hotel for easy access from/to highways A4/A22. The location is also good for getting downtown seamlessly, 5 mins walk to the station and 10 mins ride on the subway takes you to the very heart of the city (St. Stephen's cathedral). Booked a double room with king bed preference -- king bed did not happen but the room we got was very nice, on the top floor with excellent views on the neighborhoods recreational area and the Prater in a distance. Nespresso machine, tea making facility, modern bathroom with fine amenities. Sleep quality better than average. Wifi good, TV channels mostly German only. Breakfast was great, good choice and quality of food items. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is convenient in the neighboring IZD garage (direct access to hotel lobby), but a bit pricey. All in all, this was a good stay and I recommend this hotel to travellers who find this location suitable.
A delayed flight meant I arrived at 10pm - ask about room service and was told the restaurant was closed - go over the road to a petrol station to get a snack!! Not a good start. Bedroom specifically requested a double got a twin - only two news channels in English yet plenty of choice in Spanish. German-French , Arabic etc . Internet TV was very slow and frustrating. Bath towels old and thin. need to upgrade. Pillows in bedroom not good quality. Lack of communication at reception on many issues including clear instructions on my bill - ordering taxis etc left me perplexed as not understood even though they said they understood. I don't expect these issues in a hotel of this standard - needs more training in English. Would say it felt as if understaffed on reception areas. Breakfast ok.
I liked it it’s central and near subway station The view is very nice Breakfast is good Reception team very helpful Very safe Good car exit to highway Clean room Renovated rooms Price is good Nothing more to add
Booked into this hotel as part of a conference package at the Vienna Centre. The hotel lobby was smart and well presented. Staff were bilingual, friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast was good with a large selection although at the busy time I visited the hot food had run out. The room itself was very disappointing. There was a strong smell of urine on entering the room which I think was more likely to be due to the malfunctioning aircon. Unfortunately this was broken and pumped 25C air into the room all day and night and couldn’t be switched off. As someone else has commented “double bed” in fact means twin beds which was a little disappointing It was not worth the €150/night that I paid for it and unless it undergoes a refresh I couldn’t recommend it.
We stayed for two nights before starting our cycling trip down the Danube to Budapest. The hotel and room were clean, comfortable and well presented. Reception and bar staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good quality and plentiful. This hotel is nicely positioned between two metro stations and only a short walk to either for access to the centre of Vienna. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Vienna.
we stayed for three nights. The location was convenient for us: airport bus departs right in front of hotel, and only a few minutes walk to the airport bus drop off and subway No. 1 (we went to Spa Overlaa which is the last stop of No. 1), close to the Vienna International Center. The hotel shows its age already but still very nice and comfortable. NOTE: their double bed means US twin bed, so only one person can sleep tightly. The hotel has SPA (dry sauna, and shower - unfortunately, they closed mist sauna, sad). We did not take a breakfast option as it was pricey. Staff are very nice and try to address any needs of guests. I will plan to stay again there whenever I have a chance to visit Vienna.
Ι am very satisfied with the hotel services. The room was very good. The cleanliness excellent. The location was conveniently near the train station. Τhe air conditioning was a bit noisy and the internet connection could be a little faster.
Just completed a 3 day workshop at this hotel and it was excellent . Rooms v good except for projectors which were weak Panasonic machines. Staff excellent and v helpful especially Markus who provided professional support throughout. Restaurant and check in only one floor below conference space so all v accessible. Rooms well equipped but a little in due of an update Location near train and Danube for strolls.
Had a good 2 night stay in a family room 1805-1805 (Connecting rooms) with very nice view, Check in and check out went very easy, very friendly staff both in reception and in breakfast area! Cleanliness of room was good , breakfast had everything we needed. Location was good only about 10 minutes to city with metro, metro station is around 4-5 minutes walk from the hotel. Only negative was that water pressure in the room was not so good, it was difficult to take a shower. Otherwise we find it very good and would absolutely come back and can recommend to other people.
