Disappointing hotel, how they have managed to pull of 4 stars is a mystery. All interior decorating seems like the cheapest possible solutions available - windowframing plastic instead of wood, distasteful furniture etc etc. Not what you expect of Vienna. If the management’s objective was to design a cheap looking, middle eastern aesthetic, they have succeded, however. Location good, did not try the breakfast.
A very clean and comfortable hotel more suitable for business travellers. Although rated as a 4 star hotel it has absolutely no facilities apart from the small breakfast room. It does not cater for smokers at all. Having to stand in the street in the pouring rain is an instant turn off. No Bar or restaurant ,the lounge is very small (just 5 chairs ,table and TV.) As a Bed and Breakfast establishment it is excellent and cannot be faulted but is highly over rated as a 4 star hotel. Normally staying in Murcure 4 star Hotels I found this particular one very disappointing
The hotel is located near to Rathaus 5 minutes walk from the metro station. Stephansplatz is about 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. The room is very clean and quiet. Although o renovation is needed to the single rooms. The breakfast is fantastic and the staff is very polite and helpful. Great experience.
This hotel is ideally situated for all the major attractions. Well within walking distance of all the main sights in the city center. It is a lovely warm hotel (needed when the temperature was below freezing) and our room was very large for a standard room. The bathroom was clean and modern with all the usual toiletries. The towels were a little small but they were clean and fresh smelling and changed every day. Our bed linen was also changed almost every day. The bed was large, comfortable and with the added bonus of 2 single duvets rather than fighting over one double on the bed. The breakfast was busy most days but ample room and there was a good selection however, sometimes the staff were a little slow at refilling the buffet choice. All in all a good stay and I would return without hesitation.
very close to the city centre and nice locations (Spittelberg) for a reasonable price with very supportive staff - close to public transport and museums what do you expect more to enjoy a very nice city trip 😁
I am satisfied with the location, the room, and the service. The hotel was cozy, at convenient location, but not noisy at all. Klimt fans would be delighted to see the room decorated with his artwork design. The front desk staff was very helpful with prompt service. I personally enjoyed the English Theater (a minute walk from the hotel), the Christmas market at Rathouse ( within 5 minute walk), the museums (15 minute walk), and the State Opera is only a few stations away by metro or tram. The hotel staff was very helpful with prompt service to get me a kettle, a taxi, and the information on how to get to the department store, etc. As a Japanese, I would like to bathe in the bus tub which my room didn't have; the shower room, however, was quite comfortable.
Fantastic, truly wonderful and relaxing. Great location for the old city, the markets and the Rathaus. Definitely worth the visit and the hotel was perfect. The staff were welcoming, very friendly and always willing to help with any queries.
Visited here in December for the Xmas markets and were not disappointed. Rooms large and comfy, hot water plentiful. Breakfast was good also. Could have done with tea/coffee facilities in the room. Good location. Lovely city. Would return to this hotel.
Easy to find and centrally located to most of the famous sites in downtown Vienna. Walking distance to the underground and other public transportation options very close by. Numerous restaurants nearby as well. Checkin was smooth and easy. Staff were very pleasant and informative. Our room was a funky room. Split level with a sitting /TV room on the higher level and the beds on the lower level. Room was really really hot, even with the heating switched off so had to sleep with the window open just to try and cool it down. The room was clean and decently kept. Bathroom was small and modernly furnished but worked well. Internet was available and signal strength was good, however after 30 seconds of inactivity, the system automatically signs you out. I would be reading a long news article and have to log back in 5 times just for it to load fully. THAT was the only pain and downside to an otherwise good stay.
The Hotel needs to improve its Internet Access arrangement as it gets disconnected every 10-20 minutes and you have to re log in again, this has been so frustrated during our entire stay. Moreover, the checkout process at 7 am in the morning has been very slow. Other than these, it was a pleasant stay, the room was clean and comfortable, breakfast quality was high and the location was convenient.
