This hotel is comfortable and my room was spacious and warm. The staff were helpful and friendly. I couldn't find fault with it. The view from the window was nothing spectacular but I didn't stay there for the view ocean.
All was perfect in your hotel. Room and breakfeast are of a very good quality. Hotel is very well located near the center of Vienna. It was possible to visit all the places of interest in the city by walking. Thank you very much for all.
An amazing hotel like to suggest. The places are romantic and clean, the room was clean and the service is absolutely great, also wit a nice location, just 3 mins walk from the undergrad and near to the maid sightseeing place. Highly recommend to live.
The Hotel Josefshof is Wonderfully located in the center of the city and yet down a quiet alley so it is very quiet (very rare in vienna!). The breakfast buffet was one of the top I've ever experienced. The staff were unbelievably personable, very helpful and warm. They were always smiling and ready to answer any questions. The rooms are well equipped and ours had what seemed to be a brand new bathroom. When looking for accommodation in Vienna, look no further than Hotel Josefshof!
Superb one night stay here, easy check in, lovely helpful staff and room and hotel perfect. Breakfast was excellent and hotel is in a great location. I would definetaly recomend this hotel and hope to be able tovreturn for a longer stay in the future
Located in the city centre, five minutes walk to various sightseeing, such as Parliament, Rathaus, Museum area, etc. it's quiet when you walk into the hotel, although situdated in the town down. nearby the subway 2 and bus station
I was in Vienna last week for an official trip. I arrived late in the night to check in and was felt welcomed at the reception by Maria, who made sure I received all i requested. Their junior suite at sixth floor, with only two rooms on the floor, had a nice all wall window, but unfortunately not the most beautiful building opposite to the hotel as a view. The highlight of this hotel is their most courteous staff. Vivian was the most eager to assist guests. They would do their best to facilitate the tourist guests from all over the world. Kristian Lopez at the desk spent about half an hour, or more, to help me connect to the cellular network using a free sim card I had picked from a local store. I was reluctant to seek his assistance for such a task, and had approached him only to ask where could I get such a help. Kristian went beyond his call of duty and I truly appreciate his warm manner and courtesy. The hotel offers authentic Viennese breakfast at the nicely set typical Austrian restaurant. Staying at this hotel made my work related short visit a very pleasant experience for me indeed.
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and well equipped. Location is very central and walking distance to most places. Very near volkstheatre ubahn station too. If arriving from the airport you can get the CAT and change to U3 westbound to Volkstheatre and you're almost at the hotel. Downsides were; Unusually our room didn't have any tea or coffee making facilities. Walls quite thin, our neighbors wanted to watch TV at midnight and it was blaring through the wall. Overall our stay was pleasant.
Good hotel, good location. Only downside very limited bar and dining. Very near tram,Ubahn and centre. Room more than adequate except for tea making facility. Staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast selection.
Arrived midday after a long journey...........early access to room was very much appreciated. Privilege Rooms have separate lift access. Our room was good size with large comfortable double bed. Unusual set up with toilet and wash hand facility separate from excellent walk in shower. Full provision of toiletries but could improve on the quality of bath/shower towels. Our room was kept immaculately during our stay. As previous TA reviewers have commented.......room was warm at night. Our room windows were very difficult to open.......heavy and difficult to open. Room outlook was towards a internal quadrant with metal grills. Breakfast was good with usual juices, cereals, yogurts, cold meats/cheeses. Warm options every morning consisted of sausage, bacon, scrambled egg and cooked veg. Coffee machine with good selections. Sweets breads and cakes also available...... good touch with fizzy wine if wanted. All in all a good breakfast to set you up for a full days sightseeing. One point..........breakfast room can get very busy at times. Bernard did a wonderful job keeping everything ticking over....well done. Hotel is 10 mins from Rathaus in one direction and and Hofburg/Museum Quarter in the other. U-bahn 5 mins walk to U2 line and access to all parts of this wonderful city. All in all we would consider Josefshof if we returned to Vienna.
