We stayed here for six nights and found the room very comfortable. The aircon works well. Please be aware that there is now only a breakfast room, no restaurant or bar. There are several reasonable restaurants in the same street as well as a Lidl store. Easy walk to the U Bahn, Westbahnhof and Mariahilferstrasse. Helpful staff. Note there is a high step into the bath, so if you are a bit infirm best to ask if they have a suitable (disabled?) room. Would stay again.
Overall good hotel, location is abit far from center but the room was clean and it was an easy stay. One funny thing is that they didn't have orange juice when we asked for it which is the minimum in breakfast buffets.
We arrived early in the morning following an overnight train from Vienna and a very friendly receptionist named Anna allowed us to check into our room early which we were very appreciative of. Our room was perfect, very spacious and spotless. Very Central to transport and easy Access to Vienna center. Anna recommended an Austrian restaurant nearby which we found to be excellent.
Although a bit away from most highlights, this is a perfect hotel to explore Vienna. Buy yourselves a ticket for a day (or two) to travel freely with the public transport and you will have an excellent time. The beds are perfect and after a nights rest, you feel really refreshed and ready to do some more sightseeing.
Beutiful warm and welcoming hotel . not far from the main attraction of the city easy to get to the U train the the old city Good nice and quite rooms very nice breakfast . The stuff nice and helpful. Love to stay the price is modest
excellent location, we found it easy to walk to some of the main atteaction, close to hop on hop off bus located outside IBIS Hotel, and within a stone thriw to 2 fairly reasonable restaurants but nicer ones not much further in nain shopping street. the room was comfortable and had everything we needed, especially peace and quiet after long flight. word of warning though, there arw at least 3 mercure hotels, even though i showed the taxi driver name and address of hotel he dropped us off at wrong one so we needed to make additional taxi trip.
The hotel is located in a very quite street with very good transport connection in the neighborhood. The staff at the reception, in the restaurant is very polite, empathic and professional. The immaculately clean room was very pleasant, equipped with modern appliances, comfortable bed/nice beddings. We had a nice start for the day after healthy and delicious breakfast. For sure next time we will stay in Mercure Raphael Hotel Wien.
+ Good location for the hotel, very close to Maria Hilferstrasse Price for room vary between 80-to 120 euro. good breakfast, safe area - parking is not so suitable for larger cars but you are allowed to park to nearby hotel Ibis (same hotel group)
I enjoyed my stay at Mercure Raphael, Vienna. Staff was very nice and professional. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was very good both qualitatively and quantitavely. I will strongly recommend this Hotel to family and friends.
I really liked this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed for a night. The location was also great, just few minutes walk from a train station with many shops, and the Mariahilferstrasse. We haven't ate in the hotel, next time we definitely will as breakfast looked great. The parking garage is recommended for advanced drivers, driving in was ok, but we have some scary moments while driving out (nothing happened luckily, but we were close to damaging our car). The staff was very correct about the garage, they informed us in advance and asked to check if we think it is ok for us to drive in. The price for was very correct, only 15 eur per day.
