The room was in a very poor state of repair, electrical sockets hanging off the wall, windows held in with tape, paint peeling, thick clumps of hair on the towels, pillows ripped, lumpy and filthy, mould in the room, table broken and couldn't be used as the top fell off - clearly a long standing issue as there were screws randomly put into the top which fixed nothing.
The bathrooms very mouldy, no ventilation and the one window that was in one of the bathrooms; it's hinges were broken so the window would have fallen out if you tried to open it. The other bathrooms shower was a pipe hanging out of the wall.
No room to get dressed in bathroom. Excrement on the wall, one shower broken, very strong smell of urine and mould, no cleaning. Common areas only 2 teaspoons and 4 plates between 5 apartments, broken draws, broken fake pot plants, all dirty. I contacted the owners many times and each time only a 'sorry' and nothing fixed. Every photo on the listing is very out of date and misleading. The stairs are not carpeted, they are filthy and have rubbish on them. The entrance hall was piled with old newspapers thrown into a corner and the front door was broken meaning no security and anyone could walk in off the street. Given the gangs that were outside from 1am - 3.30am with the police trying to break it up, security definitely needs to be a priority in this area.
This listing should be removed as the apartment is unsafe and unfit for even the most basic of budgets.
