Excellent stay but poor check-in experience.

Problem at check-in. Desk Clerk (I think it said Omar on her name tag )was clueless. Our room wasn't ready. She said we had to wait until 3PM. Then she said that a lesser room could be ready in 40 minutes. We said Ok and she said she would call us. We checked in 1 hour. No room. We then checked in two hours. She had forgotten about us. Didn't even recognize or remember us. At that point she checked again and said the lesser room was available. Very unimpressive. When we later asked how to get to the concert around the corner - she gave us direction on the metro to the Concert house. Luckily, Anna heard the conversation and told u to go out the side door and turn left for half a block. The balance of our stay was excellent but the check-in was very unprofessional and annoying.

The hotel's location is convenient to get to the city center. Convenient parking for a car, of course for a fee but worth it. Great breakfast. The room we chose was small but comfortable and very clean, but the bathroom was very, very small and uncomfortable for two people. The bathroom must be enlarged. The hotel is very old but well maintained. Recommend the hotel

The property is a dated and the bed was rather squeaky. The bathroom was on the small side and oddly oriented. Most of the staff were pleasant but it was unfortunate that I witnessed the front desk person rolled her eyes when another guest was simply asking for a pen replacement as the one she had wasn't working. The front desk person was impatient and I was surprised to see that she wasn't even trying to hide it..... This did not happen to me in person but I'm not a fan of how the staff acted. It was however such a small thing, not sure why the staff acted so impatient.
