Wonderful lovely people at the reception, nice area in the middle of the art. Nice atmosphere, the single room a little bit small, but confortabile and warm. Breakfast very good, yogurt vegetable, centrifughe eggs and other. Last day very gentle to take care luggage and call Uber.
Ideal location for visiting Vienna's museum quarter as well as to access the old town. Metro is just five minutes' walk away, and honestly you can get to the old town and the cathedral area by foot. Rooms are clean and new, not luxurious but comfortable (the beds are particularly supportive). Front desk staff are really nice, they helped us out with reservations and restaurant recommendations.
Stayed here for four nights. Good room , comfy beds. Asked to move from room next to lift and for a thinner pillow and all sorted out very efficiently. We did not have breakfast here. Excellent location for getting around. We used the vienna card which provided excellent value for money, not just from a travelling point of view but from discounts offered in most of the museums and palaces we visited. I downloaded as an app to get further discount. The 49 tram runs past the hotel and we used this to get to and from theRing. After a long day wandering around it saved our legs for the uphill walk.Excellent public transport system. Only slight downside was the noise at night. We were on the fifth floor , but although the windows are double glazed, it does not seem very effective in cutting out the noise from cars, trams and rowdy revellers; perhaps that's the price you pay for such a central location.
This hotel is n a good position for galleries and museums but some of the staff need more training in customer service. The check in was efficient and the room spartan but clean. The n still morning at checkout the person on reception ignored us and another couple and was going to attend to someone who pushed in saying "we just want to check out". Well so did everyone else. When our turn came she tried to charge us for a breakfast the previous day (since we did not check in until 5pm this was silly).
The hotel in general was clean and as advertised. The location was good for what we needed even though we expected the street to be nicer on the outside. The entrance is is "hidden" between shops. For 1 night it worked for us since we needed to see all attractions in 1 day. The room and bathroom were very clean but a little on the small side. Make sure you ask for a room with A/C since not all rooms have it. The reception employees at the hotel were not helpful or nice at all. We were leaving early and asked for them to arrange a taxi which arrived 30 minutes late since they forgot to call it for us. When the taxi arrived they did not notify us that it was there already. We also asked for an early breakfast and were denied any option. In the morning since the taxi was late and the restaurant employees were preparing the area they let us have breakfast and told us that they can of course serve an early breakfast when asked or even prepare a breakfast bag for guests. The breakfast was delicious!
The hotel Is hard to find as the entrance is "hidden" between shops. A good hotel if you want to be in the Museum quarter with lots to do but be very careful with the room you choose as not all of them are air-conditioned! I had to take a EUR 40 upgrade to get airco while there was a hot spell in Vienna! No parking and no parking in the street so you need to park at a public parking garage which is quite a distance away from the hotel.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I would say it borders between 3 and 4 stars but has some nice features. The hotel staff were excellent, very helpful and knowledgeable. Room was basic but nice and clean. Air conditioning, free printing and free soft drinks in the lobby. Would recommend.
With its excepcional location, at Museumquartier, this could br a perfect Hotel for visiting Vienna. However there are a lot of flaws: there is no air conditioner and in August we had temperatures near 40º, which was unbearable inside the room during the night; the rooms are small, with lousy furniture and our Minibar didn't work; they mixed our booking and attributed the rooms to our children, one is underaged. A disaster. Though, the personnel was very attentive and they had some drinks free of charge in the breakfast room during the day. But I wouldn't repeat the experience. This Hotel does not deserve, for sure, a 4 star classification
Great location, not expensive and high standards from staff and facilities, Attractive foyer and rooms with good breakfast area, Food choice good .It's not a 24 hour buzzing place but a great base for as a really comfortable stay and access to Vienna. I would go back there without question.
The hotel is located nearby the Museum Quarter providing easy access to the most important places and sightseeing in Vienna. The breakfast is ok but not something special, the wifi is strong, the room was clean, and the service is good. However the rooms are outdated, instead of air-condition there was a floor air fan and there is no space to work with your laptop. It needs improvements to become worthy.
