Nice hotel. Very nicely located for the musems quarter and the old city. Clean and comfortable. Good value for money. Cons: Friendly but not excited personnel. No dinner availability. Street noise in low floors.
It is a nice hotel in Vienna. But the rooms are outdated (and very basic). The central location is good for seeing Vienna. I stayed there two times, and slept well. Breakfast buffet is good. Staff is friendly (unfortunately, only one single person at the desk).
The breakfest was great. Many choices including prosecco. Location is great also. Hotel is right next to MQ and center is in walking distance. Metro station is close by. There are available hot and soft drinks for free in breakfest area. It is nice to have warm drink at hotel after sightseeing all day. The hotel room is very basic. The furniture is old. I felt like back in college room. But it was clean and room was big enough for two. Bathroom was clean, big and comfortable.
This hotel is very well located near to all of the sights that Vienna has on offer. There are quirky little cafes nearby which are worth a visit (nominally, Phil), and it's very easy to navigate through the museums to the centre. However, the hotel itself is undergoing renovation. I would say that it isn't really a 4* hotel - the rooms are quite basic (in particular the shower), but the blackout blinds on the velux windows and memory foam mattresses make for a great night's sleep..
I've stayed there for one night on my way from Prague to Sofia via Vienna, and had enjoyed the experience a lot. The location is superb - the hotel is just across the street from Museum Quarter, and 15 minutes on foot away from the Opera and the walking zone with all the landmarks. The room was a bit on a small side, but comfortable, clean and elegantly furnished, with a lovely bathroom with a shower. The staff was very friendly, and there are free non-alcoholic drinks served in the lobby from 12pm to 12am. Would stay there again if I'm ever in Vienna.
We stayed for 3 days, the room was very clean and spacious and the reason I didn't put a perfect score is because I wanted a slight renovation! You can also post the 12 noon to enjoy free drinks in the breakfast area which does not mention the hotel when booking. Finally, the hotel is very near the Metro station as well as bus stop that takes you to the airport.
Amazing location for a very attractive price. Subway station very close to the hotel, great restaurant right across the street, friendly staff, great breakfast...should I go on? I plan to come back really really soon :)
We've visited this hotel back in December 2016 and I can say that it was the best hotel we've stayed in the last months. It is indeed an excellent choice during the winter as it has around at least 3 Christmas Markets but I think it's would be great choice also during other seasons as it's located extremely close to the shops on Mariahilfer Straße and to the City Center. The tube is only around 2 minutes away, which is a great advantage and It's surrounded by many restaurants and pubs. The hotel itself it's very clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. They offer a great breakfast buffet and also free! hot drinks during the entire day. The room was arranged in a modern style and had a good size.
The Viennart is a nice hotel that is centrally located in Vienna. The hotel location is in the Museumsquartier, within walking distance to the Metro (300m) and is in walking distance to all all the major venues / attractions in central Vienna (Stadtkern). It was very easy to get to by train from the airport. The hotel rooms are clean, beds comfortable and the rooms were quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful and gave us good tips on places to visit and also nice restaurant choices that were reasonably priced where the locals usually go. We really enjoyed their breakfast buffet which was included in our hotel price. This is certainly not an upscale hotel but meant for the traveler who wants a good hotel with clean and quiet rooms, centrally located and is not big on amenities.
In an excellent position, so close to so many attractions. A small hotel right next to several museums. The historic center of town is also quite close. The main shopping street is about 200 yards only. We had a nice big room on the first floor. (A superior room) Breakfast was excellent, so was the service provided by the girls on the reception desk. Although the room looked on to a fairly busy street, it was very quiet. This was our third visit to Vienna, we just love the museums, but it was the most satisfactory hotel taking everything in consideration.
