Very good value for money. Comfortable bed, but didn't like the fact that the second bed in the room was not made up, so the second pillow (no pillow case) and blanket (no duvet cover) were of no use. Careful with overnight parking (I got a ticket).

The breakfast buffet was great -- a large selection with something for everyone! The location is wonderful, just outside the ring, two blocks to a metro stop. These two things made it a good value. I had a single room and it was VERY small, with NO view, but since I didn't plan on spending much time there other than sleeping, it wasn't a big deal to me.

The photos suggest old world elegance, but the room is small, on the drab side, with a small, ancient box tv that sits on top of a small refrigerator. The room is clean, the bed having reasonable comfort, but the room has a dreary feel. I paid for the hotel's breakfast, which is very good, but this should not be a reason for failing to provide a coffee maker in the room, which seems a standard feature even in budget hotels. All in all, on my next trip to Vienna I will look for another hotel.

The hotel wasn't really in the center of things but most were within walking distance. There was also a train station down the street so when we were going farther we could just jump on the train. We also used the tram (leaving from this same station down the street) as a kind of tour to get an idea for where everything was located. My favorite part of the hotel was the complimentary breakfast but I would still say it was a little on the pricey side considering the location.

Beautiful hotel with a very helpful staff. The location is a little out of the main tourist area making it a quite location, convenient tram and subway stop across Sigismund Freud Park. Easy walk to Stepanplatz. Very nice breakfast buffet.

It couldn't get any better than Hotel Regina! My husband and I had a wonderful getaway! The location is great, the breakfast spread is AMAZING ( they will even make you a cappuccino), and the staff are extremely nice, knowledgeable, and SO nice. They do appreciate little tips, so be sure to give a euro or two for little services here and there (getting a charger adapter, sending out a postcard, borrowing the iron, etc.). Whenever in Vienna, we will always stay here, or at other Kremslehner hotels.

Just as the title reads, this hotel is a value all because of location. It looks elegant like New York's Plaza Hotel on the outside. The rooms are dated, but the bathroom is sparkling white and it gets the job done. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel literally down the street from all that Vienna has to offer (Vienna metro/tram, Rathaus, Austria Parlament, downtown shopping), this has great value. Also, the American breakfast is unbelievable, I was shocked a free hotel breakfast was going to have that much variety of good, filling protein foods. My brother and I stayed here for New Years 2012 and we certainly made the best decision by booking this place. The metro was close by and we could walk to everything Vienna had to offer. Would certainly recommend to friends/family!

There was no internet in the room. You have to go to the lobby or restaurant to get wifi. The wifi comes in blocks of 1/2 hour, 1 hour or 24 hours. The rooms are older, but big and clean. The air-condition did not work very well. It was hot in the room. However, the location was super. It is a few minutes to the underground and trams.

very centrally located and view on a nice park. Facilities scarce, no nice bar, no fitness or swimmingpool

I was attending the 16th Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Moot Arbitration as a volunteer judge/arbitrator. The hotel was within walking distance of the venues I needed to attend, or a short taxi-ride away. The hotel provided quality accommodation at an affordable rate. The buffet breakfasat every morning was tasty and filling. The cafe/restaurant/bar featured Austrian and Vieneese dishes and a daily fixed price lunch and dinner menu. One could dine either inside or outside on the comfortable terrace to the front corner of the hotel. My only disappointment was that smoking is allowed in the cafe/restaurant/bar, and one may have to dine in the smoking section if the non-smoking section is full. The service in the cafe/restaurant/bar was excellent. After my first evening meal I was recognized and warmly welcomed by the wait staff each time I dined. It appeared to be a popular dining spot for locals. The front desk was helpful when I asked for directions and the staff provided me with maps to guide me. The mini-bar in my room was well stocked and replenished every day. My room and en-suite bathroom were spotlessly cleaned every day at the times I wanted the room serviced. I could watch two English-language cable TV channels in my room: CNN International and BBC Prime. A taxi rank was situated just opposite the hotel's front doors. I reserved the hotel's private car in order to get to the airport by 6:30 a.m. for my return flight to the United States. Although it was about 5-10 Euros more expensive than a taxi, I did not have any hassle getting to the aiirport on time as at 6:00 a.m. there were no taxis at the taxi rank which, of course, the hotel cannot control. The hot and cold buffet breakfast inlcuded in my room fee was not served until 6:30 a.m., so the front desk arranged for a cold packed breakfast to be prepared for me that I was able to collect after my 5:00 a.m. wake up call and eat in my room before my departure. All in all I had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend this hotel. Rooms are not air conditioned, so I do not know how comfortable the hotel would be in high summer, but I was there the week before Palm Sunday when the weather was warm but not hot (by Midwestern American standards). Air conditioning was not needed.
