I have visited Vienna for several times but this hotel is the worst experience I had there. Rooms are big but empty, and the bathroom is very strange with the toilet almost in the middle of it. Wifi is free only in the lobby but it was impossible to connect there.
this hotel is a little bit like fawlty towers! the air conditioning only worked for the first night, it was hit and miss whether you could get a drink in the lobby, and there wasn't much choice on the breakfast menu. however, it is very close to a u-bahn station and tram stops and there are several shops along the street to the left.
The hotel itself is small and there is nothing much to write about. However, the location is wonderful. Right next to the tube and easy to get around. They serve simple breakfast. Staff is friendly though.
Very nice staff, helpful and pleasant. The room was very big, cleaned daily, towels changed. Very easy to get to the hotel by local transport ( U4 subway), quiet neighbourhood. Easy to get to city centre, Schonbrunn palace. Stayed for 3 nights.
Rooms are big , spacious and well maintained. Good kitchen and is near to metro station. Its bit far from airport and taking taxi will b costly. Better to take metro. Its near to many malls and staff are quite helpful.
First impressions were good, impressed at the quality & how modern the room was, nice size, flatscreen tv, nice bathroom, the shower was the only good thing about this hotel as it was decent size, it had jets and A radio. The so called "air con" is absolutely terrible. It only made the room hotter if anything couldn't change the temperature so it constantly said the room was 27 degrees. I even had to sleep with a cold wet towel on my back. When leaving the hotel they ask that you return your room key at reception and collect it once you return which I thought was a great idea as I hate carrying room keys. Upon return we simply state our room number and the key is returned. There was no questions asked. We could have asked for any room number, this I did not like. I return up to my room to find that the door was not double locked like I left it so I knew someone had been inside even though I'd left the do not disturb sign on the door. I also notice the hairdryer had been taken. I checked to ensure all my belongings are still here as there is no safe supplied either which isn't good at all. Breakfast is very average. Small selection, only 2 hot food items. Can't really complain as we got breakfast included. Thank god we were only there 2 nights.
The room was clean and nice . I noticed a lot of people complaining about the AC ...we had one in the room so I suppose that not all the rooms had one. The internet is a problem as you can only use it downstairs but because we were away a lot it didn't really bother us. The breakfast was ok..it was not outstanding but for me it was good enough and tasty enough. Beware that the hotel has no parking ... but there are many parking places, some of them with good prices.
1. The breakfast was awful. Just a few dishes, very cheap food and not good taste at all and really bad coffee. They don't even have toaster! I can only say that I regret for paying extra for breakfast. 2. The hotel looks very old, but not in a good way, like "vintage style" J No, it's just horrible decor and the photos don't have anything to do with reality 3. They don't have parking, like they say - I've got a parking fine for that 4. Very poor wifi connection
Truly, a misfit for the name of the hotel. No air conditioning during this summer, Vienna was warm and could not sleep after a tiring day. The staff were not at all courteous or polite. No WiFi in rooms without paying. Available WiFi in the lobby was also not working at times. Location is good, with Metro U4 is nearby, and a supermarket. Breakfast was average again with unsmiling staff. Will not recommend to my friends further.
Horrible experience in this hotel.3days stayed ,there was no a/c and no free Wi-Fi.And staff were very rude especially "old man" Not at all happy. Breakfast was not great. Vienna was really warm and not having the air conditioner was a terrible experience. The Wi-Fi which was already available only downstairs didn't work making it hard us to plan our days in Vienna. Vienna is a beautiful city and Hotel Mozart is such a misfit here
