The Domizil Hotel has a friendly staff and clean, quiet rooms. It is an easy walk to Saint Stephens Cathedral. St. Stephen’s is crowded, but the lines move quickly. Nearby are other churches that rival the interior of St. Stephen’s. Our favorite cafe is Cafe Diglas, and it’s only two blocks away. Excellent dinners including three types of schnitzel, Austrian goulash and more. Their strudels were wonderful.

Staff were very nice. Breakfast was good with lots of assortment. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Windows were wide so lots of sunlight available, and blackouts drapes darkened the room at night. The property was well located, opposite corner from the metro station, but very close to Stephenplatz, around the corner from Mozarthaus, St. Peter’s church etc. We really enjoyed staying at the hotel. Thank you for the enjoyable stay!

Lovely small hotel in great location

Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, great selection for breakfast. Although central, I found the area quiet for sleeping. Only negative was that I found the mattress a bit too firm for my liking.
