The location was great. We could walk everywhere. Breakfast was average but nice to have. Comfortable bed, but my husband didn't like the pillows. The window covering didn't work properly. We had to leave the window open for air so it was quite noisy with street noise. Felt a lot like a hostel. Had everything we needed but was bare bones.

This was an amazing little place located in the heart of Vienna. It is walkable to all the main attractions and is in a very safe neighborhood for solo female travelers. It is very close to all different modes of transportation so it is easy to get around if you prefer transit. Took transit to see one of the palaces that’s out of the way and was so easy to navigate. Staff was great and I really enjoyed my stay there.

Great Budget Pick

Overall I enjoyed my stay here. It’s near the City Center and most attractions in the city are less than 30 minutes of travel (walk or train) away. Location was great. Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable, check-in was easy. My one problem was the SHOWER. It looses a star for this. The shower had two temperatures - freezing cold and scalding hot. Nothing in between. And the worst part is that it would instantly switch between these temperatures with zero notice, leading to some very unpleasant experiences in the shower. If this was fixed it would be a 5 star for me.

Don't stay on the street side - too noisy!

Check in was easy, but know this is not a full service hotel as there is only someone at the desk in the morning. The hotel and room were very clean, and the continental breakfast was adequate. Our problem with the room was that the curtains in room 4 did not cover the large streetside window, so we were constantly having to cover one end of the window and not the other. Getting dressed was challenging and sometimes I just had to hope no one was looking over. The other problem was that the street was very noisy late at night, people sounding like party revelers who had been drinking and stood out in the street making noise.

Me and another girl stayed here and I felt very safe. First time in a hostel, and it’s just like a small hotel. Quiet when we were there but just depends who else is staying there. Would stay there again I loved it! Great price as well.

The room that was shown on Expedia and the one that i paid 100£ for was not the one provided. I checked and realised that a single room was given to us and the one shown in the photos was other bigger room. The room was dirty, tiny, with the bathroom door that did not shut. A black out wall/window that did not close, smelly, small bed with 2 tiny cushions for pillow, no bedside lamp but some weird portable light, only one outlet to charge stuffs, no amenities whatsoever. The ratings shown on Expedia are false. The staff was unhelpful. Best part they were asking for 25£ even if you check out half hour late which when they confirmed few days ago they forgot to mention. I would strongly advice you against booking a room here as the money paid does not justify the room or amenities provided. Horrible experience

The place was noisy all the time, unusually so. For the talk of having quiet hours, it was louder at night, and I am not talking about what was going on outside. Also the fact that they needed to be reminded to put soap in the bathroom. But most damning was check-in. Your key card is just left out there for anyone to take, thus someone else could make themselves at home in your room.
