Austria Trend Hotel Europa Wien

This is one of the better hotels I've stayed in for a while and I take 4-5 international trips a year and book 5+ weeks of 4 & 5 star hotels in the process. We stayed in an executive room with a sunken bed/ living room and the room was large by European standards. The staff was help and courteous. The hotel is in the middle of some very upscale shopping and about 100yds from a grocery store so you will want for not. I never saw the point in paying for their breakfast as there are cafes and great pastry shops all in easy walking distance. Overall, very happy with the hotel, price point, & location.

Best location, near everything, opera, nigh life, restaurants, shops.

Unbeatable location, nice and clean, friendly personnel. Thank you!

The hotel is in a great location, in between Stephanplatz and the Grand Opera- walking distance to both, heart of old town, walkign distance to subway, tram, and bicycle stations! The room was nice, bathrooms are HUGE!

I recently stayed at the Austria Trend Hotel Vienna on July 24-26th. Due to a last-minute change in my accommodations, I had to book a hotel in Vienna upon arrival. I found the Austria Trend Hotel and did quick research to find that it was the only affordable hotel in the city center within walking distance to many tourist sites. At check-in, reception was cordial, but could not find my reservation on the system since it hadn't updated yet. Eventually, it was found on my reservation which gave the hotel confirmation number with your reservation and the receptionist upgraded us to a corner room who a balcony, just in time for a glorious sunset in Vienna. After almost a month on the road, this was a welcome site. No bathtub in the room, but the shower was sufficient. The soap dispensers could use some updating as they kept coming off. No air conditioning in the room, but luckily we didn't need it. Central location and within walking distance to two U-bahns (underground subways), lots of restaurants nearby, and the hotel will assist and even sell tickets to tourist attractions as well as book cars to the airport. Convenience was great. I wish the breakfast was included as it was pricey €20 and there really isn't any breakfast places in the area so you are left with the hotel breakfast. My daughter was with me, but since she is a child she are free which was worth it for the both of us. Also, free wifi in the hotel and slower in the room, but very helpful as well. I am returning to Vienna again in December and will again look into staying here.

great location. easy to enjoy the city from this hotel. would definitely return. thanks

This hotel is in the best location, you can walk or subway everywhere! But the room was sooooo small! Not at all what the pictures indicate.

I have stayed there several times. this one has been the best. Nice rooms, excellent service. wonderful location and reasonable price. I will coming back.

Great location! Breakfast was great but make sure with the staff that it is included--i booked and thought breakfast was included, so we went every day and ended up getting charged a ridiculous amount. Breakfast was good, but we would have gone to the bakery nearby to save $30 euro a day on breakfast. There is a grocery store around the corner as well if you want any snacks--great location for shopping and eating! I would definitely stay here again based on location alone.
