Stayed at this hotel and had a very uncomfortable stay and very poor facilities like no kettle no proper toiletries and breakfast not upto the mark overall a bad experience .except for the metro which is very close by and the reception at the desk which was good
We spent 2 nights here on our tour and I was very pleased with the standard of the hotel. The rooms are modern and well maintained, not huge but more than adequate. All very clean. The food was all fine though we did only have breakfast which was good. It's a bit out from the centre but there is a metro station right beside it so it's very easy to take the 2 stops into the centre. I would recommend this hotel.
It's a really excellent hotel in Vienna. It's located in a quite area and just crossed the road opposite and you can go everywhere as underground is just some steps far! Clean rooms and kind stuff !!!
Stayed 2 nights in this hotel. This is a huge place, comprising of 2 wings based on the elevator set up. But the rooms are cramped, typical European . The bathroom was also small. TV was also small , with hardly any English speaking channel. Not cold with the AC we ended up just opening the windows for cool air to seep in.Good thing it was the start of autumn. Wireless internet is free and just has the right speed. Location was not central , not in the city center , so not in vicinity of the attractions and sights. But since it is in front of the subway /tram station , as long as you know your way, you will be just fine. Good thing about the hotel is that there are several stores a few minutes walk outside, including a McDonald's counter and a kebab/ schnitzel take away place. The buffet breakfast was sufficient , comprising of Continental and some hot food items. Although it is not worth raving about the taste of its cuisine, I kind of liked its coffee. Several things I liked was the vending machine in the ground ( and 2nd level? ) and a souvenir shop as well. Can't say enough of the good staff service , from those in the front desk who didn't hesitate when I had small request and ask simple questions to those in the restaurant /breakfast area who are accommodating with the many diners even though they are very busy. Simple disappointment however with the lady restaurant supervisor or receptionist who refuses my gesture of a photo op, it is probably something personal or it is just a racist behavior.
After our flight was cancelled, the airline put us up here for a night. Hard to assess after staying in a truly classic hotel by the inner city. I guess it's trendy and modern, but we felt like we were staying in a college dormitory...probably a good hotel for the younger set (we're late 50s). It wasn't helped by kids running up and down the halls yelling at 11 at night. The room was comfortable and clean--but ...stark? Not a lot wasted on decor. Bathroom was modern and clean. If you're just here for sleeping, then I guess it was good...breakfast was included and above average--nice buffet with a variety of options. The hotel is away from most tourist attractions, but since it is across from Pilgramgasse metro station you can get to anything by hopping the train and it is near to several shops and restaurants. Front desk staff was friendly and spoke English. I think they had underground parking. I likely would not stay here again, but that's personal preference and not to do with the hotel, per se.
This is a poor choice especially if you consider the price and their so acclaimed 4* !!! This is no 4* hotel! You do not have the bathroom properly provided at least with a shower cap and sewing kit, not to mention there were no slippers or no laundry bag at all! The shower cabin is so small that you barely have place to shower in there, you hit the walls when you want to put the soap on you or when you try to rinse, AND I am not at all a big person!!! The mini bar does not even deserve its name, since it was a lousy fridge with two small bottles of water in it, nothing else!!!! This is a shame, I would not recommend this especially at the price I've paid!!!
Spent one night at the start of our trip across Slovakia. Front desk attendants were professional, congenial and friendly. Several spoke fluent English and check-in was seamless. Our room was clean, quiet and a well functioning air conditioning system. The complimentary breakfast buffet the next morning had a wide variety of foods that should appeal to most everyone's appetite. They even provided a "Luggage Room" to store our suitcases the next morning as we toured Vienna. Go ahead and give them a try. You won't be disappointed.
We stayed at this hotel in August. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The rooms a good size and fresh and clean. The breakfast was lovely. The Metro station is just across the road making it really easy to get around! Would stay here again for sure!
We stayed one night at this hotel in July when we met with other family members en route to other Austrian destinations. The front desk staff were extremely professional, friendly and accommodating. We had a rental car and needed parking which was underground right at the hotel entrance and was very clean, and rightly lit. Direct access from the underground parking by elevator was available so we could unload our car from the parking garage and take our suitcase up to our room. The room was very clean and quite and there were rooms with joint doors for our other family members. It was very convenient to have the metro access across the street from the hotel and within 15 minutes we were at our destination to have a family dinner get together at a local restaurant. Checkout was quick and convenient. We did not take breakfast but our other family members described it as very filling and delicious. There is an on-site bar lounge as well. Very good hotel close for our needs.
Stayed for 2 nights in a group of 100+ doctors on a conference. Check in took a lot of time and we had to wait for almost 2 hrs to get the room key. Room size is very small n with many basic amenities missing...No complimentary water, no electric kettle, no dental or shaving kit, no shoe shiners to name a few. The size was so small that there was hardly any space in the room after luggage unpacking. Breakfast spread was decent but if you are a veg, your options were very few. The taste and quality of food was ok but not great. Location of the hotel is central. One plus point is it's bang opposite station pilgramgasse. A kebab corner and McDonald's are opposite the hotel as well. Will try some other place next time
