Aparthotel Adagio Vienna City

Hotel was clean and well-located in Vienna. Suite came with only a single uncomfortable rigid desk chair and a terribly uncomfortable folding chair. No sofa as per photos on Orbitz. Staff was unable to provide a single comfortable upholstered chair with side arms to sit on as per my requests. Not at all a good place to sit and relax after walking a lot in cobblestoned Vienna.

When we made the reservation for the hotel we included breakfast but according to the hotel this was never informed by Orbitz. So we had to pay an additional EUR 28 per day. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the center of Vienna where most of the attractions are. The picture of the sofa is actually a Murphy bed so the room looks bigger than it actually is.

I loved the location and a nice view that I had from my room, facing the canal. The carpet was stained badly. The chair stank of sweat on my first day and I needed to clean it better.

Super location to the metro and Ringstrasse and all that includes We would book here again

We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful although one at the desk did not seem to be aware of the location of a grocery store in the neighborhood (there is a large one named InterSpar less than 10 minutes walk at the Wien Mitte train station). The studio for two was small but with modern appliances in the kitchen and bathroom as well as a 32" TV in the bedroom/living room (CNN Business Channel, BBC World News, most Austrian and German stations). The twin beds were comfortable and we slept well. The main negative was the carpeting in the hallways and the unit - it is old and needs replacing. There was also no room service in the 8 days we were there. Trash containers are, however, on each floor, and one can always ask for fresh towels. Since it is a small apartment, one needs to purchase coffee, tea, extra toilet paper etc.

Overall everything with this hotel was good. There were two tran stops right outside that connected to the train systems. The kitchen was a great addition as we did not do breakfast at the hotel do to others' negative reviews on the price and selection of their breakfast. The bathroom is nice and large and the room is small but we didn't go to Vienna to spend time in the hotel. There was also plenty of closet space so we were able to hang things up. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent location on the ring of city center convenient to everything. The room was excellent, clean and comfortable. Had some trouble reading the city map (the names were in German), the staff at the front desk were always helpful getting me where I wanted to go. Highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel exceeded all expectations. Definitely a great find and hotel to stay in Vienna. I look forward to going back and staying again.

My mother and I spent two nights in this modern and affordable hotel apartment. I found the mini kitchenette very useful. An unexpected plus was the lobby laptop with internet. The exceptional staff went out of their way to locate the evening's entertainment which was all very easily walked in 5-15 min.

This hotel is all aparthotels and part of a chain in Europe. I actually didn't know this when I booked but was pleasantly surprised to find a full kitchen with pots, pans,, etc. It was ideal because there was a market near by and I could buy stuff for the refrigerator and to heat stuff up. ! The hotel is close to the UBahn (subway) and trams. The staff speaks English and was very helpful. I would definitely stay there again. The down side is they don't service the room daily if you stay more than 4 days. It is not luxury but very clean and comfortable
