Aparthotel Adagio Vienna City

The staff were very friendly. The location is good. Its close to the underground and walking distance to the city centre. The rooms are small. We had two single beds pushed together up against a wall and very little space to move around the room. We would not stay here again.

The hotel is centrally situated with 2 tram stops in front of the entrance, short walk to Wien Mitte train station (very easy connection to airport), U3, U1 and U4 stations are 5 min walk from the hotel. All main central attractions are within 10-15 min walk or few stops by tram. Perfect location to explore Vienna. We stayed in a basic studio overlooking the court yard (no view at all). We were aware that window in this type of room doesn't open and that there was no daily cleaning provided so it didn't affect our overall impression. The reception staff is very friendly and professional. Very smooth check in and check out process. The room was of good size, modern, clean with nice big shower. It was very hot in Vienna during our visit but efficient air conditioner kept our room nice and cool. We had comfortable twin beds, a desk with the retractable table we used to have our meals at. Small kitchenette was very convenient to prepare breakfast and quick meals, bring filters for the coffee machine with if you want to use it. Utensils are very basic and also be aware of very sensitive smoke alarm, we were given a note to sign during check in re 500 euro fine in case of false fire alarm going off due to cooking/smoking. We saw a fire brigade parked in front of the hotel in one of the afternoons so guess someone must have had a very expensive dinner that night. We stayed for 12 nights in total and the place was very peaceful so the quality of sleep was good except for only one night when there was a wild party in the room above us till 3am with loud music, dancing and furniture being shuffled up and down. Overall we had a beautiful holidays and will definitely stay in this hotel again.

You may prefer to stay there as location in perfect and rooms are quite big. Moreover breakfasts were tasty and public transport available in short walking distance. The only disadvantage could be lack of view through the window, so it is better to admire Vienna sight outside hotel :)

Our 250 sqft room (#221) had a Murphy bed (firm king-bed/sofa combo), pull out tables, 3 hard chairs, a double closet (with broken shelf but also containing a safe, an iron, ironing board and a vacuum cleaner?!), weak A/C, free wifi (5 bars on 5 power), 2 large windows, an adequate sized dimly lit bathroom with limited shelf space, a burnt out vanity light (repaired the day after reporting it) and weak water pressure in the shower. The 40 sqft entry hall combo kitchen did not have a toaster but did have a full size refrigerator, microwave oven, dishwasher, 2-burner range, mini-sink, kettle, pot, saucepan, small scratched-up old frying pan, set of 4 dishes and cutlery and some utensils and a miserly 24" of counter space. We heard every footstep and chair-pull from the room above so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. We would have appreciated a 25% larger brighter kitchen/dining area, some soft easy chairs, toaster, better utensils and more soundproofing. The harried staff at reception were as helpful as they could be. No daily service in room at all. Overall I would have to recommend this aparthotel although we would research other properties that better meet our likes before re-booking here.

Good location, fiendly staff. Breakfast is expensive, so if you are on a budget buy groceries from a store which is 5 minutes from hotel. Room was big enough but sheets had stains on them and carpet wasn't clean when we arrived.

We stayed here in June on a family trip.We found the hotel to be very central and close to the heart of the city.It was walking distance from Stephanplatz. It was near the tram station and the rail network. There was no daily cleaning service but you could change the towels by getting new ones from the laundry downstairs.. The wifi was free.Breakfast was reasonably good .Staff was courteous and helpful. The suite had a mini kitchen equipped with crockery and cutlery and utensils.very convenient for a family with young children.

It is a good place to stay in Vienna. Near the historical center, metro and bus station. Good hotel, clean, comfortable, good break fast. A very helpful people. Hotel muito bem localizado, próximo ao centro e fácil acesso a transporte público. Hotel limpo, confotável e com funcionários muito atenciosos.

Highly recommend Adagio hotel, 15 min walk to main city centre. Spotless clean rooms with comfortable beds. Our room was lovely and quiet so a good night sleep . Nice big shower, plenty of hot water. We had a little kitchenette , and could make coffee or tea, and make breakfast. There are supermarkets about 5-10 min from hotel. Public transport outside hotel. Reception was quick and polite and helpful. thank you for a memorable stay.

1Location Good 2 Hotel The carpet are stain. Rooms are big ,but the fredge is off, with doors wide open...the smell from the toilet is terrible, which is a problem if the hotel with small toilet room. Pillow are useless...big and like a stone fully with a sintetic material..air cindition worked just in one room. 3. Breakfast Too expansive..better choice to go to buy traditional wurst for cheaper price. 4 Parking The hotel has no parking. You have to let the luggage at hotel and go 300 meters in a public parking. 5. Front desk A liar who explain me 2 times about a aircon that is working and to be patient.😀😀😀

I mistakenly booked the wrong week through booking.com. The hotel went to extreme lengths and considerable inconvenience to reschedule my booking. Arun Sharma could not have been more helpful. On arrival instantly impressed by cleanliness, efficiency, courtesy and good service. Highly recommended.
