This hotel is not attractive for tourists, but might be very convenient for business travelers. Located in place with convenient public transport connection, but far from city center and old town. Beds are very comfortable and can have very good sleep. Breakfasts are very basic and every day is the same.
Good value good public transport location busy in summer with large sports groups excellent value Business Lunch limited eating facilities monotonous breakfast english /russian widely spoken no restaurants nearby taxi from/to hotel reasonable
Room in soviet style, somebodys hair on the carpet, lonely garbadge box in the corner of wc for toilet paper only. Breakfast was various, but some food was old and had a strange smell. Great coffee, strong and delicious.
Overall, the hotel is great value-for-money and definitely recommend. The city centre is only 15 min by tram No. 6, which comes every 10 minutes and you can get just outside the hotel. The restaurant offers a wide variety of contemporary food and drinks, which are very reasonably priced.
Located in the main street of Riga, not far away from the city centre, it is a preferred place to stay for our team when we are visiting Riga. It is because it really suits our need quite well - prices are low, beds are comfortable, spacious parking place, excellent buffet breakfast - wide choice and delicious.
Stayed here with a group of 10 rooms for 5 nights, this was the nearest hotel to where we were working, so was the obvious choice. Hotel was good value for money and though I have had bad experiences with this chain in other countries, it had comfy warm rooms decorated to an ok standard. Shower was good for me, I'm small but a bit low for my tall male colleagues. Bed was comfy enough but rooms were very hot and noisy main road meant it wasn't a good nights sleep with the window open. Ok so far you say...but my colleague had tried to drop his bag off a couple of hours before official check in...and though we had over 40 rooms over the week the officious girl on reception tried to charge him €10 to hold his bags, this is something I've never heard of before and scandalous to be honest! We arrived back at the hotel at 9.55 one night, our last with the team, and I wanted to get the guys a drink to say thanks for their hard work...but no, officious receptionist strikes again and we were told as it was nearly 10pm the bar was closed! Why put potential future business at risk for a can't be bothered attitude or just down right narrow mindedness. How not to run a hotel...
This hotel is very nice in many aspects: Great value, very nice lunch offers, clean and comfy rooms, friendly staff and a good location near to shopping malls and the city center. I highly recommend days hotel
during last years I have stayed here at least 10 times. It is near to the city center, just 5 minutes by tram/bus/tollei that comes here literally every minute. The hotel is clean, (sometimes the reception could be a bit friendlier), but otherwise it is all perfect, especially the ration btw money and value. The rooms are ok, there are also dozen superior rooms that are quite large. Breakfast is ok, continental stuff. There is a wonderful roof terrace, especially to be there in summer, sometimes there are nice concerts also on the 6th floor.
Really nice hotel great value for money very friendly staff dont know how much it costs to stay here as we booked as a package but it carnt have been a lot due to only paying 350 for two of us for 5 nights but would definitely come back to this hotel and would recommend
Nice and cheap. Well laid out and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We booked it as its close to a tattooists that we were visiting. Its not very central but its only 5 minutes or so in a taxi and they are very cheap. The food was good but I wouldn't recommend the fish soup
