The photographs are a true representation of what you get. The decor and facilities are relatively basic but they have everything you need. The rooms are clean and beds comfortable. There is a pool with four loungers and two umbrellas, air conditioning, hairdryer, safe etc. I had read a review which said the lodge is slightly out of town. This was not a problem for us, the journey is only a short distance and cost $5. The lodge arranged transport with a fantastic taxi driver called Lackson who was so polite, prompt, honest and reliable. I can't fault the friendliness and efficiency of all the staff who genuinely couldn't do enough for you. They were happy to make restaurant recommendations and book activities. Very impressed and I work in the service industry.

We came to this lodge after our long flight zu Zimbabwe and we have had just one night here, but it was great .. very friendly people, nice and clean rooms ... all ok -- simply speaking, nothing to complain

We had the most wonderful time here with our two little girls. The pool was just the right temperature and the staff are friendly and helpful in the extreme - we accidentally left a pair of swimming goggles there and they went out of their way to get them back to us. The rooms are gorgeous and the air conditioning is excellent - which is a necessity in the Falls in summer. The gardens are really beautiful too - they have made a huge effort to make everything nice. The food was also delicious and they accommodated my little ones without us even having to ask - on the night we had a spicy beef stroganoff and they made the girls some chicken breasts that were waiting for us when we came through to the restaurant. The taxi service they use is really good too - a nice man who was always on time and cheerful and not too expensive. Would absolutely stay here again!

Only one night at the sister Lodge of Bayete.. Staff so helpful.. Pool a welcome relief after a 12 day safari. Rooms comfortable and clean.. Young Clara a passionate lady about the Lodge and guest comfort. Would definitely stay again..

Clean and spacy room. Very friendly staff. The receptionists were allways there, when you needed them and could allway help. Breakfast was ok. Dinner was good. The ambiance was like an oasis. I very much enjojed my stay.

Very nice modern boutique hotel with decorations that celebrated local artistry. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood but still close to town. The units had both shower and tub in the bathroom. Nice pool, bar and very friendly staff.

Wonderful stay , very comfortable accommodation ,great food, amazing staff, so friendly and helpful. Beautiful gardens and pool area. Would recommend to future travelers, a few kilometers from town, easy access to local taxi.

The location was great, the room was spacious,BUT the big NO NO for me, was the lack of screens, all the windows of the room were wide open when we entered as was the mosquitoes. There were two different cans of bug spray, one called DOOM and another can of Raid. The bathroom had mosquitoes and one was suppose to spray the room with insecticide? Didn't know that was a requirement for staying there. The resort had lotion with bug repellent in it, was that suppose to help? The only good thing was the shower worked and to air out the room, there was the windows with no screens. The bed had a mosquito net around it for the evening. It was too late when we discovered the air conditioning did not work too. Breakfast was good, the dinner was overcooked pork. Best thing was the WiFi. I have been to Zambia and had screens in our room with netting over the bed, never heard of a hotel not having screens in this part of the world. If so, then make sure the air conditioning is working. The room was clean and we stayed here one night and glad there was not a second night. The person in front, said no one has screens in Victoria Falls. I am not a expert, so just reporting the facts. We would not stay here again. I gave it a average rating because the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. No AC and the lack of concern over mosquitoes took away 2 stars.

I recently stayed at Phezulu for a meeting. Eight of the meeting participants stayed at Phezulu and we had the meeting there as well. It's a great spot, with excellent facilities and wonderfully helpful, kind and efficient staff. Our every need was catered for. It's quiet and peaceful and very conveniently located, with new, clean and spacious rooms. It's excellent value and I would highly recommend it for business or holiday travel.

Very good Guest Lodge. Very good meals. Very good clean in all Lodge. Very thank's. It is to advise for one/two nights. Alone problem is the location out of Victoria Town so necessary a car. Thank's. Paola Zalaffi (Italy)
